I wonder what they would look like if they were human...

I imagine we might find out in Inquisition (assuming we did the Dark Ritual). Wouldn't the soul of an Old God influence the development of the vessel containing it? I'm thinking Urthemiel will be the most beautiful entity to ever grace Thedas.

Well in my canon, his mother was Morrigan (dayhm), his father was Caucasian Male Mage and his soul is an ancient dragon god of beauty, we have no idea what he'll look like all grown up. The concept art was a cool.

Well your in luck. My entourage has just returned from the Dragon Bone Wastes and have unearthed a treasure trove of artifacts. I got crystals, books, old robes, and fresh dragons blood. I also managed to steal a few eggs. The losses were acceptable, but after such a long time from home I am eager to return. Although I am going to stop at the Dales on my way home. I get the feeling the Elves might have hidden a few trinkets there. I have had enough of Ferelden. My agents will notify me if anything else of interest arises in the country. I couldn't get to see the Temple of Sacred Ashes unfortunately. Too many Templars. They could have spotted me.

Your most welcome. What's a magister without his/her slaves?

Do you need slaves to replace your losses?

I will make do. Too many foreigners tend to attract attention. Especially in countries in turmoil.

Yes, our esteemed FE is going to marry my oldest daughter and step into my family (and relieves me from the danger of that mundane wooing her). Magister Jaronking is in no hurry so he and my middle one are going through a proper courting period before official announcement. Besides, I will pay for the weddings so it will be a occasion of the year, those events need room around them so that they will not hinder each other.

*taps his bulging coin purse*

By the way, I gave her the staff you wanted and she was delightfully surprised. That is a good sign, hopefully she forgets about that boy and understands her duty.

* walks into magistrum covered in dust and blood holding a pair of rings with red stones in them.*

I have done it not once but twice, i have made 2 sanguine stones. The greatest artifacts for the applications of BM and electricity based spells *slides one one* behold with this ring i will bring a new order of peace to the north * bites thumb to draw blood and displays a super blood augmented lightning spell*. The other ring shall be presented to my bethrothed.

Now i must change my robes the smell horrible

*claps hands*

Well done my brother, that is excellent item. *tries to look closer*

I´m most interested in finding out how it is done (maybe learn to do one myself).

Ah, and before I forget since we are talking about gifts. I bought this oxmen inscription from Seheron and these fog warrior amulets. I believe these amulets have power in them, I sense something. I hope these do for Magister Rose for taking my youngest under her wing.

*waves slave to bring wine*

So Magister Ciahrdap, how is south? Should this council put more effort in sending out agents to expand Imperiums cause?

I found another game that has a group similar to Tevinter, the Red Wizards of Thay from Dungeons & Dragons. They are a ruling class of wizards who are slavers and work with demons and they scheme to bring down the other nations.

As for the Old Gods, I'm concerned for the future of Lords Razikale & Lusacan. According to the book, Dragon Age: The Calling the Gray Wardens already know where all the Old Gods are sleeping but it would mean cutting down thousands of darkspawn. I propose Tevinter make two expeditions to get to the Old Gods first before the darkspawn. Maybe they could be saved. Tevinter would need that information from the Gray Wardens somehow.

I like the red wizards, though at times there sheer number of failures to conquer things around them can be silly. Of course, I don't care for the Forgoten Realms setting.  I have a number of other PnP RPG settings I much prefer over the realms or tbh most dnd settings.

Also I noticed something interesting. When looking at random inquisition screenshots/pictures. I noticed that Lady Couteau looks rather similar to the Dreamer, less spikes though. Maybe a dreamer or tevinter agent?

I wouldn't lump the Imperium in with the Sith so readily. They're largely undefined or depicted by White Chantry bias. There's room for more grey morality there IMO.

I am curious how powerful the Mortalitasi are?

I assume that compared to the Tevinter the Mortalitasi are much better necromancers then they are, but all other magic is stronger in the Empire. I say this because well the Mortalitasi seem to focus on necormancy style magic and nothing else, so naturally IMO this is something that even tevinter wouldn't match.

its possible that yes they are well versed in necro but it could just be related to culture rather than skill. It honestly depends on perspective and we lack them on both counts

I would put my money on Tevinter though. Since the Imperium has been the cradle of magic from the dawn of human settlement in Thedas. I would assume mages in Tevinter would have done very thorough research on the subject through out the millenias. Long before Nevarra was even populated.

If we are going to compare it to a star wars group, I'd think the Imperium is closer to the Fel Empire as depicted in the Legacy comics... I don't know much about it outside the wiki, but it is an empire that while it emphasizes the light side is not associated with the Jedi... or something.

You could say the political structure is like the Sith Empire, but the major religion is the Imperial Chantry, which stresses penance and charity, so it is not as selfish or "evil." It really is the best nation.

The only thing we have in common with those other empires is magic powers. Tevinter gets a bad rap because everyone tries to equate their views based solely on a southern propagandist notion.
