To be blunt. Get over it. We didn't see Morrigan or Shale or Wynne in DA2. and i wished i had, but i got over it because it wasn't their story. This story isn't about The Warden
 
Again i will say this simply. Get over it, its not a big deal, and you should be appreciative David Gaider actually came into your thread to try to discuss this with you but really what it is, is that you're just scorned he won't appear, Even though like in real life, not every issues will be resolved at the same time, and that's what the DA series does, we gets hints and clues, messages and questions that are for a game to come
 
Just get over it. And obviously they aren't Catering to DA2 fans since many DA2 companions have been confirmed to not return, yet we have Leliana and Morrigan as main characters of the game and we know Alistair is making a cameo.

Shouldn't that also include people "venting their opinion" that you need to get over it or are you excempt from the rule?

Also how can DA2 be a continuation of Hawke's story if it started there?

No it didn't. DA2 had nothing to do with the warden and not even at first glance since the dev's said it wasn't the warden's story. the only thing it shared was flemeth as a plot device and darkspawn for about 15 minutes. and a small amount of cameos. It was its own story completely.

 

And there is a difference from saying. "well i wish he would of shown up". and starting an argumentative thread to bash the writing of a game that hasn't come out. And to keep it going when David Gaider came in here to speak to you. he doesn't give everyone his time but he decided to talk to the people here so they could see his side, but instead people argued with him.

 

And what are you talking about my credibility? that was my first post in this thread because its annoying to see people get mad at choices that are obviously for story reason.

 

Seriously when i hear something i don't like i deal with it and move on. So what the Warden isn't going to be in the game. he doesn't have to. because the series isn't about him. he/she is just a PC in a wonderful game. Nothing more, the series isn't about him or her so they don't ever have to show up if the Writers decide to take the story in the direction. 

 

Just because he/she exist or gets mentioned in a game doesn't mean they have to be in every game as PC or cameo. 

 

And you're telling me to stop telling people to get over it when people are openly bashing the writing of this game just because they didn't get what they want. There is a big difference between voicing an opinion and insulting people because they are trying to make a great experience of a game.

Not really, considering every single person I know that plays DA both on and off these forums want resolution.  It's not just about me, it's about a huge swathe of the fanbase that would like it.  I can even live without an appearance, but I would like closure one way or another.

I think they will show the warden and hawke but not for long i think DA 4 will have the warden, Hawke, and the inquisitor

I understand the frustration of those that want closure. None of this would have happened if DA2 hadn't said in the epilogue that the warden had disappeared like Hawke.

 

If we later learn that Hawke will appear in DAI, the correlation is obvious, and most people liked the warden more than Hawke. It would have been easier to let the warden stick to her queenly activities or whatever.

The warden is not appearing and i have come to terms with it. I dont agree with that decision, thinking its a mistake not to include the warden.

But i have come to terms with it.

But my fear is this: they have said that it will be a story behind it. But im not so sure i want to take that leap of faith. the story itself may be quite cheap. I just hope that they will address and conduct this seriously. And not simply throwing a leftover dinner

If you "need" an explanation from David Gaider, I'm guessing you're going to be going needy, because explaining the extent/rationale/involvement of Hawke in the game is 1) a spoiler and 2) not actually something he is obligated to explain to anyone, let alone people who are rudely spamming the forums and trashing his work. 

 

But I did offer to help, so I can pretend to be David Gaider and explain it to you.

but they finish DA2 with a relation of disappearances of Warden a Hawnke and now they decide change the idea and only back Hawke,Warden only receive a very poor treatment with mentions and notes.

 

 

much fans wait much time for this game and now they take the decisión of delete the participation of warden in inquisition.

 

 

really i hate this differents treatments of hero,probably in this game Hawke receive a closure of story and Warden only a poor off screen closure
