I thought Prima had their own digital content that comes with the CE guide.

Don't the deluxe edition and collector's edition have the same digital content (flames of inquisition stuff)?
If you get new content from buying a guide, I totally will (even though I never read guides)!

The Deluxe Edition and the Inquisitor's Edition both have the same digital content. There is, however, a separate strategy guide by Prima that comes with its own set of digital content.

It's like 40 dollars extra since I either buy the regular edition of amazon uk, or buy DE from a retailer in Sweden. I'm just looking for the best deal here, man!

I'm hoping its because they went back on the fact they would going to give the pc a mabari and now they have seen the light and bestowed upon us a mabari.

I thought that they'd said that the DE contained most of the extras you'd get from the CE, minus the physical collectable goodies?

Nope, it's almost certainly not going to be a Black Emporium. The devs have said that they are "looking into it" as "future content" as of just a few days ago. That probably means they haven't even started working on it yet, whereas the digital content probably is already finished. More likely than not it's going to be cosmetic items, like a new mount, new throne, etc.

I'm hoping it's not MP related, and instead just more cosmetics for Skyhold or something. Mostly because not everyone will have access to MP and for them it'll be a waste of money.

I pre-ordered the Deluxe edition back in june and ill of course still keep that order. i just really want to know what else i'm getting. and if its not anything. i just want them to tell us. Its payed for so its not like I didn't want it just with the skyhold stuff and the Album.

 

Its just irritating. i would at least like an update. like "We are working on different items that we are considering putting into the Deluxe edition we will have an announcement by ___" instead of the silence they seem to be giving us.

Its still well over a month from launch and most of the content has been announced...maybe Bioware/EA is waiting to see the pre-order numbers to base their desicion on the remaining content? Who knows, but we do know they will announce it soon (within a month at most).

 

This is just my speculation, but I would fully expect it to be an additional character...it was the same with Mass Effect 2 and 3...as well as both of the previous Dragon Age games...and personally...as someone who has had the game pre-ordered for nearly half a year now...that would be awesome.

 

They also haven't announced the 3 digital items for the CE Primus Strategy Guide either...but again...over a month and a half away from launch so give em some time.
