Maybe not the biggest thing, but I think it would be nice if at some point (perhaps in a future patch update if possible) if we could see more types of undead other than just human zombies and skeletons.  I haven't really seen anything so far that indicates that Inquisition isn't the same as previous games when it comes to undead variety (apart from the Bog Unicorn DLC).

I think there should be also undead from the other various races such as the Dwarves, Elves and Qunari.  It just seems a bit weird to me that humans seem to be the only ones represented by the undead.

You can argue some of those undead are elves since the way the devs seem to make their undead, they look pretty decayed and hard to tell between the two. As for dwarfs or Qunari, guess make them shorter/taller?

Well personally I'd be looking for a bit more than that to differentiate them.  Like horns on the skeleton/zombies for qunari or various armour types more typical to each race per type of undead etc.  Plus I'm not really content with just pretending that the undead are also elves.  Especially since they've been made to look noticeably different to humans since DA2 onward.  If it's not going to happen then I can accept that, but I'd like to see this implemented at some point or kept in mind for future content/expansions and sequels etc.

Why limit the undead to just the humans, elves, dwarves, and qunari? It seems to me that any corpse should be fair game; and the addition of the Bog Unicorn means that BioWare is thinking along the same lines.

What about undead dragons, or werewolves, or even…. Mabari  :crying:

Well I do mention in my op that I wouldn't mind seeing other creatures as undead also (though for the life of me I couldn't think of any significant examples lol).  For the most part I was trying to make the point that the zombies and skeletons always seem to be human with no representation from the other player races.  Though I'm all for seeing more undead creatures also.

In DA2 the Arcane Horrors were specifically elven mages. I remember that from the codex. The undead on Sundermount were elven.

I was meaning a visual representation rather than a note buried in the codex about a standard human-looking enemy type.

In a world where the dead can come back and kill you, why isn't more common to cremate the dead? You'd think any time someone would want to build a crypt or cemetery, some locals would be shouting, "Not in my backyard!"

I believe that is the reason Andrastians cremate their dead. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the undead we encounter are simply people whose corpses never received proper disposal because they died in an out of the way place.

In DRA O you got a chance to play as a Darkspawn (DLC) technically its not a undead creature but be fun to play as one again :).

You know what would be fun to play as a Archdemon ;3.

So if you didn't have a pyre for king Cailan in RtO you might see him again.  Sort of.

I remember it. I also don't remember which name they give to the demon of pride which has taken over the body of a mage as an unknown named entitity.
