And I have a feeling that the new faces are less detailed. Maybe it's because of the video quality, but the lighting is clearly worse.
Um... sorry I'm just CC fanatic. And I loved that lighting from CC video. Also, I liked 1st male human preset from the yesterday's video more.

While i agree...He ment like the Arcane Warrior type melee mage where you can equip a sword and fight like a warrior and cast spells. Although I miss my Arcane Warrior spec I will be happy as long as I can still melee with my staff like DA 2, it really made up for not having the spec.
If you notice, the Armour has a different colour. It's possible the crafting video is from an older build.

Can't say i'm fond of the elves we saw in the CC demo and this video .
But we had screenshots of two good looking elves.Well I think they were good looking.
For me it's a bit of a hit or miss with the elves I've seen so far .
The schematics are very interesting.
So let's say you craft some Legion of the Dead Armour.
You're going to need 58 'pieces' of metal (with 3 metal types permitted: 30, 12,8,8)
and 8 pieces of Leather.
I assume the metal or leather you choose (Iron, Silverite etc) affects defence and other properties.

I think it's those Fade Rift crystals
Maybe its a different kind of fade rift? So far we've seen ones that were "in the air", but we know from 2013 PAX demo that there can be a rift under water. This one could be "in the rock". But it indeed looks more like lyrium rather than a rift. Guess lyrium lore will be vastly expanded in Inquisition.
If I was going to nitpick about the CC, it would be that I wish we could separate the 2 eyes as far as colour goes. So we could maybe give an eye that we've put a scar to 'run through' it from cheek to brow to look a different colour to the other one to indicate it being damaged by whatever caused the scar. Other than that I love the huge number of variables that appear to be within the CC

Arcane Warrior was rather boring. For me the reason of playing it was that mages looked horrible with the robes and funny hats and that godawful staff attack animation, while as an AW you can wear Warden Commander and other cool armors and look badass.
As long as mages can look cool in DA:I melee attacking is not that important for me, necromancer riding undead horse and summoning minions to do your bidding sounds far more awesome.
I think the CC shown in the video was not the latest build? The textures seemed different from what we saw yesterday. Could explain why that awesome 'preset 3' head was back in the video but was not there in the previous vid.

Yeah, it looks more like the lyrium we've seen than like the floating Fade crystals... but, maybe it is?
