I don't know when I'll be able to play this but this video below shows off some of the changes this year. I'm really liking how to post game is looking with the new animations. Signature size ups look nice too.

I've already downloaded the game on X1. I became disenchanted with 2K14 because of some the problems with that game--like the god-awful rebounding and lack of free agency in MyCareer, among other things--but everything I've seen of 2K15 so far leads me to believe that it could be the greatest basketball game of all-time. I don't know if you've seen Da_Czar's freelance offense videos on OS, but that sold me on the game. It looks so good.

They have a few cool ideas with this game. I'm going to be getting a new console soon, and this is going to be one of the first games I get.

I noticed that when I watched some of the livestream, too. The thing that bothered me the most about rebounding in 2K14 was that it turned into a vertical leap contest. I know that leaping ability has something to do with pulling down rebounds, but it's not everything. I think technique and positioning have more to do with it that anything. Even NBA super athletes need those two things to win rebounding battles. In 2K14, I'd see prolific rebounders like Kevin Love and Al Jefferson consistently beaten out for rebounds by athletic PGs simply because they had a higher vertical rating than Love and Jefferson. Some guys would just run into the paint and jump over the entire frontcourt for rebounds. It looked completely ridiculous. That doesn't seem to be a prevalent problem in 2K15.

Wasn't it too difficult just like FIFA14 comparing to FIFA13/12? AI being too smart.
And... searching for the good players has become too hard.

NBA 2K14 needed some work for sure. I don't think it was a bad game though. Judging by the few videos in the thread so far Visual Concepts addressed some key problems on the gameplay side of things to make this a much better experience. Only time will tell but I'm excited to get my hands on this some day. Genuine excitement. It's usually, "Oh this looks cool, I'll play it." Now it's, "Oh this sh*t looks pretty legit, I can't miss out this year."

8 more days.. should be enough time to finish Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor and pick up Tomb Raider where I left it.
And then I can waste hundreds of hours on MyPlayer's career again. It's the only mode I play 
. Though I think the whole skillpoints thing is a lot different on consoles, and since the console version is going to be the same as the pc version, I might have to 'farm' skillpoints.
But I probably won't, I'll just make a fresh MyPlayer and slowly build it towards glorious.

I had a SG in my last career, but that was in NBA 2K13. I've only played full 5 on 5 matches in NBA 2K14 against a homie of mine. The only thing I touched in MyCareer was All Star Weekend and it still had that skip the rest of the regular season glitch in it just like 2K13 so I don't think I missed much, on the last gen version anyway. I'm hoping to get a PS4 in the next five months so I can finally make that next gen leap, and 2K15 is going to be one of my first games.
