While I see what you're saying, I think you're seeing PR speak where there isn't any. They've made it clear many, many times that main reason Qunari don't have helmets is the horn, I think they genuinely believe that the warpaint is awesome and unique and they wanted to express that. It seems entirely innocent to me.

Quit yer yappin' is synonymous to "stop whining." In this case, creating an entire thread to voice your displeasure over something so pointless, it's almost as if smudboy came back to life to haunt the BSN again.

Because they would have to make every helmet in the game work with the Qunari head, it's not worth the effort to make the helmets fit a single hairstyle.

lmao i just googled smudboy and the first thing to come up is his youtube page with this description.

We had one person writing an indepth analysis on sera holding her bow 5 cms in the wrong direction in a lousy promo pic, and now this, so excuse us for being a bit jaded. There is being critical, and then there is being ridiculous.

Certainly valid, and I can see where his coming from. But, again, I still think he's looking for a fault where there isn't one. Even if they were spewing some PR nonsense, I don't think it's worth raising a fuss over.

Thats the point, voicing a criticism does in NO way conclude that someone isnt appreciative of whatever it is they're speaking about nor is voicing an opinion "pointlessly running your mouth"

It's not a criticism of the actual content it's a criticism of what Mike said.  I understand the hair thread to certain degrees, since it's an actual criticism but this... it's nitpicking at it's absolute bloody finest!

The OP was valid. BioWare does used PR speak to twist things in a certain light.

What bothers me is that it is such an utterly useless thing to even THINK about, that it serves the entire world and the OP's frickin' cat, to tell him to use his brain cells in some other enraging process.

 

We're not discussing morality, ethics, politics or plot.

 

We're talking about a game mechanic that will probably have no impact at all to anybody other than some group with a helmet fetish.

 

The OP could be so frickin' right we could write him in the dictionary for the bloody word.

Yeah, I also thought that explanation sounded a bit weird. Qunari are special, their horns are special, and because they are so special they wanted to make them even more special by giving them special face paint.
