I have a "couple" of small questions, answers to which will now basically define if I will buy this game or not.

1) Will I be able to remove any character from party? Not "not take" on a mission - completely remove from roster?

2) What will be relation between mainquest and sidequests? (i.e., 1:2, 1:10)

3) Will I be able to fully control level progression and equipment of PC and party members? (main stats, armor, skills, etc.)

4) Will there be any actual difference between battles? Or combat system will be more or less cloned from DA 1 and 2?

5) Will there be an actually PC-friendly UI or like in previous two games?

6) Will I be able to craft items that are more powerful then the best items lying "in-world" and aquireable through natural flow of gameplay?

7) Will there be puzzles?

8) Will it be important to understand the lore of the setting to progress through the game?

9) Will I be able to complete a kill-free playthrough?

10) Will there be longterm unpredictable consequences of my actions?

11) Will there be any clear numeric indications of relations between me and party members and/or game factions?

12) And will there be factions, by the way?

13) Will there be a final boss fight with a huge dragon?

14) Will there be any forms of in-game popups concerning DLC, addons or any other elements that are not directly connected to game setting?

Thanks in advance. I will be very grateful to find answers to these questions.

I'll take a swing at what i can

  1. You can not recruit many characters, and if they dislike enough they can leave. We don't know if you can ask them to leave.
  2. Ratio? No idea, probably fairly large, that's always been the case.
  3. Presumably, a stable of all Bioware's games
  4. There are differences, it's not swarms of virtually identical clones like DA2. The combat videos we've seen have shown this.
  5. I found origins quite PC friendly, less so DA2. So I'm not sure what is meant.
  6. Unsure if you can beat legendary items, but crafting can beat random stuff you find, especially since yuou can customize its qualities.
  7. Another Bioware staple, hopefullly not too big or irritating.
  8. To some extent, otherwise you'll wonder  what the hell is going on, and who are these elves with tattoos. They'll definately explain and supply codex entries though.
  9. No.
  10. To some extent, yes. how large or how well you can predict I can't say.
  11. Companions, no, factions, possibly. Inquisition power and influence is numerated.
  12. Yes, Templars, Carta, Circle, Dalish, just to name a few.
  13. No idea, probably not, too many Origins vibes that way.
  14. Only day 1 DLC is items, so  no reason to expect it.

I'll answer the ones i'm either sure of or close to sure

1) it has been verified that you can completely skip even recruiting some companions or ****** them off to where they do leave, but there will be at least 1 person leftin your party by the end (I believe it was 1)

4) Have you watched the combat? It's kinda a combo of both with a little bit more added in. It looks fantastic, enemy shields actually block attacks.

5) They did say that there is a different UI (spells, actions, etc...) for pc. Kinda like what they had in DA:O, but I've never played DA2 on pc so I can't compare it.

6) At least the armour, but most likely weapons as well. it seems pretty extensive.

7) Good question. Though it wasn't a puzzle, they do have some interesting side quests. I'm looking forward to finding the out as well

8) Not to start out, but you will get fed it throughout the game, as it is an RPG

9) not sure what you mean by this

10) Ooh! I hope so!

11) No, they did away with this. You will know based off of how they treat you (Greetings and salutations)

12) If you mean like in TES games, then most likely not. There are factions that you can gain on your side (mages, Templars, Grey Wardens)

13) They probably aren't going to say the Big Bad

14) Like journal/codex entries?

I never felt that the UI in previous games wasn't PC friendly.

In most games it is not important to know the lore. It is very doubtful we will need to know the lore in order to even be able to progress.

What the final boss fight will be, nobody knows. I doubt BioWare is going to tell us before we even have the game because it is not something which should be as obvious as it was in DAO (considering the story was about you stopping the Darkspawn).

However, what we do know is there are a good amount of end game dragon fights (not directly tied to the story).

I find it highly doubtful there will be pop-ups in the game itself telling you about this crazy new DLC. That stuff tends to be featured in the login screen only.
