can i pre-download the game for release if I preorder? (I've never actually pre-oredered from origin)
Also, as a side-note, what IS the inquisiton? the demo/trailor speaks of "winning", which got me thinking: winning what, exactly? Winnin against the demons/fade rips? winning against the templar/mage conflict? What is the inquisition's motivation? I don't see a "win", all i see is more of a "successfully united thedas."
You can pre-download the game roughly 3 days before release if you pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition. If you pre-order the standard edition you will have to wait for release day to download the game (not 100% sure but i have the Digital Deluxe Edition and ever since they announced the new release date i have the preload ready to start 3 days before release, most people that pre-ordered the standard edition say they dont have a pre-load option.)
You have to "win" against the Elder One (unknown antagonist of the game) and by doing so you have to unite Thedas to fight him.
Why haven't Bioware heard of a worldwide launch? It's not fair that one country/region gets it before the others. Digital copies could all be released at the same time, my computer runs on a digital clock they could set the timer to one specific time for all regions >.>.
I agree, digital bought copies should all be available at the same time, no matter the zone. I understand the physical copies is a different matter, but digital should be the same for everyone. Luckily, you can use a VPN connection to change the date of your game release in Origin and preload the game at the 14th, and start playing it at the 17th, no matter where you are in the world. This is not illegal, and if you use it only to "change" the release date for a game you already bought, there is nothing on the Origin Agreement/Term thingie that says you can't do it. It is possible Origin will do something to stop this from being possible in the future, but as of now, they havent and they are aware people do this. You CANNOT use the VPN connection to buy games at lower prices tho, that is against the Agreement and considered illegal.
