I have been playing a game on veteran difficulty and found that enemies are dropping a lot more ammo than I am used to. Does less ammo drop on insanity than lower difficulty levels?

From what I remember the last time I played insanity is that I didn't have a problem with ammo being dropped. I might do an insanity run just to find out

Ammo shouldn't be a problem anyway, the pre-placed ammo (non-drops) respawn pretty fast.
That being said, I have no idea if there's a difference in drop rate between difficulties.
