Would anyone like to see Hawke have more than just a cameo in Inquisition? I think it would be cool if Hawke joins the Inquisition, gives you Hawke missions, and comes with you on a few quests as a supporting npc.
More than just a cameo for Hawke?

Tbh, I'd rather Hawke led the Inquisition than this upstart new protagonist... I know it's an unpopular opinion, but there it is. At the very least s/he should be a party member, although that still wouldn't be all that satisfying...

I would like to see her as more than just a cameo. I would guess since she is in a trailer that it won't be a cameo.

I am all for your idea of Hawke missions and him/her having a substantial role in the game. I don't expect s/he'll be given that much focus though considering they would probably view that as shifting focus away from the Inquisitor.

Mixed on this, because I adore Hawke, but the more content she has where I don't control her reactions, the less she becomes my Hawke, you know? There's no way Bioware can tell from my choices in the Keep exactly what my Hawke's motivations/perspectives were, and while it was harder to make a unique Hawke than it was a unique Warden....I still did.
(this is, btw, why I'm pretty happy that the Warden isn't showing up)

I'm with you on that . My Hawk was a blood Mage and used the Charisma personality . I also had a warrior Noble personality . So why if this Hawke take the Angry personality ? Ewww no Thanx .

I personally like the idea of my Hawkes riding in, being badasses, then leaving to go on to their next adventure. Then again, most of my Hawkes had little interest in power, with their main motivations being taking care of the family, or making money, or just trying to keep the peace. It'd be a little weird to see most of them sticking around the Inquisition for long. Then again, if they were offered sanctuary and/or immunity from the events in Kirkwall by joining the Inquisition, I suppose I could understand that.

Maybe we will have a cutscene moment like those warden we meet in DA2 during act 2 . We fight alongside them , Hawk say something and then leave ?

i loved many things about DA2 and i made a perfect fem hawke imo, but this isn't her story so i hope its just a cameo.
I believe Hawke and The Commander will be unique advisers to help The Inquisitor during Critical Desitions and Possible Outpost leaders.
The warden isn't in the game.

I wouldn't be surprised if they become an agent for the inquisition.
Is that confirmed?
They tweeted that the warden will not physically be in the game.

Interesting! Even if they die offscreen, that puts my mind at ease... I never wanted a Warden cameo (for various reasons)...

I would like Hawke appearance as cameo, it'll be nice to see two heroes chat and perhaps fight together for the moment, but nothing more this is the Inquisitor's story after all so Hawke shouldn't be stealing the Inquisitor's spotlight. Last I checked the main protagonist of DAI is the Inquisitor, and this is the story about the Inquisitor trying to save the world not Hawke trying to save the world.
If people want Hawke to be protagonist of every DA game, you might as well name it "Hawke Age". ![]()

I honestly had very little attachment to Hawke as a character, so I don't really care.
If they wanted to include Hawke as more than just a cameo, it better feel like it has a justifiable story reason beyond just "huurr dur, look it's Hawke, they is tha best" because that would be annoying.

Bah, screw Hawke, if the warden won't be there it will never be an full crew. Not to mention the unfortunate dimwit will likely cause more problems then fix them if Hawke ever comes to work for the inquisition.

since the warden won'T be making an appereance (sadly) I hope that we will at least get Hawke for a few missions
maybe even as an asset for the Inquisition
that would be awesome

i like that idea, honestly i thought you might be playing as cassandra during inquisition before they announced it. looking for the warden and hawke, but the inquisitor will have to do, at least we can pick our race again.

I could live with this. As the Inquisitor Hawke would at least live up to pre-DA2 hype of him/her being the 'most important person in Thedas'.

Now see. I'm the guy your all gonna hate. I'm hoping that Hawke's little Cameo ends up with Hawke dead. Doesn't have to be at the hands of the inquisitor. Could just be coming upon the end of a scene playing out where Hawke didn't survive. Complete with Option of Burying Hawke in an unmarked grave somewhere.
