More like sword and bored, am I right?

I'll see myself out.

(Honestly, I have nothing against shield warriors and will probably play on at some point down the line. I just hope they have some good, meaty abilities in the arsenal, otherwise they can feel kind of...blah.)

Axes? Please, peasants should have all sorts of interesting pole-arms like billhooks and warscythes (which are proper weapons, not the glorified lawnmowers that generally appear in games when scythes are available), or, if all else fails, spears. Axes aren't really peasant weapons.

Only the nobles would have weapons like that the peasants would only have farming implements axes pitchforks  this is also war time raw  materials will be hard to come by  so the peasants will arm them sels with what ever they can find

Things like billhooks and warscythes are basically converted farming implements and tools. And making a spear is cheap and easy. Which is why thats whet peasant levies typically used.

Dual-Wielding Rogue is always my favorite class. I plan on having playthroughs for every weapon style/specialization though.

because we all know that it's gonna be yet another buttons mashing by cooldown game or some aspect of it. i mean look at the video, 5 metres jumps or similar crap.

Non of the previous game was a button masher by any stretch of the imagination...

I will definately play sword&shield, probably on my second playthrough.

At some point I will play a S&B warrior, what I play usually is dependant on who I want to take with me for most of the game.  If I am taking Cass or Blackwall I will probably not take that class.

I usually always go sword n' board when I play warriors in DA, will play as one in my second run but I might go for a two-handed warrior this time.

Why do you assume S/S is tied to tanking? You could build very effecting damage dealing characters with those weapons in past DA games, losing out only on encounters than benefitted from large amounts of AoE, while having a some utility and crowd control.

Like DA:O and DA2, my first playthrough is going to be a Human Male Warrior, set up with a sword and shield.

Not likely.   Warrior is usually the least interesting class to me and sword/shield is the least interesting weapons of choice.    If I play one, we are looking at like the 11 or 12th playthrough down the line.

My first characters in DA:O and DAII were male sword and shield warriors. Same for Inquisition.

I'll probably take the S&B warrior too except if I can forge awesome double edge axes!

Nope.  If I am to play as a warrior, I need to be holding a two-hander.

Dual wielding rouge, with no scars... since my rouge does not get touched.

Never had any fun with shield based class, maybe DAI will be different though.

i think  female with  a   claymore is better bad ass my self   but in a real  battle i think  a axe would be more  cost effective as we all know only the rich could afford  a sword of  descent make and i hope our peasant army are equiped with axes

I mostly meant that Dragon Age weapons fall into the common fantasy game trap of being absurdly oversized, two handed swords especially. My Inquisitor isn't a peasant though! She's a hardened mercenary with an experienced company. She has proper weapons! #Qunquisitor

It's just something I picked up from wow. I cant play a sword/shield without making it into a tank. It's like shield automatically = tank in my mind.

If it's like DA2 where sword and shield does more damage than 2handed then yes. I dislike how every single style is depicted in the game (and most other games with tactical and crpg roots) so aesthetics don't really factor in. I also hate playing tanks. Tanks are sloppy and boring in every game.
