That's a good point, but wasn't the demo that was shown some of the latest footage? I doubt they'd change voice actors that late in the game.

Yeah it was at gamescon which was over a month ago so that would be a really short time to get a new VA to get all those lines done.

Maybe Blackwall has no VA. Perhaps, when his dialogue was written, he was willed into existence like a thoughtform. After the initial shock of seeing their creation made flesh, the staff convinced the Grey Warden to voice himself in the game. He was then released into the wild and now roams the Rocky Mountains, searching for that one genlock tulpa that escaped the Bioware offices a year ago.

Charles Dance is possibly the male version of Leliana's role as spymaster (he's awesome as Havelock Vetinari)

 

Blackwall is similar to Richard Armitage, but not quite.

lol no, it's a commentary on Sean Bean as a speculated voice actor for Blackwall.  I've only seen him (Sean Bean) have a character live through one movie, and even this his role was tiny, limited to a few minutes just prior to the closing credits.  This is not to say he hasn't been in others, but it's kind of what he's known for by viewers.

To be fair, Sean Bean has 'died' in a lot of films/tv shows, but he has also lived in a lot more. He has, roughly, a 33% death ratio for all the things he's been in, which means it isn't a certainty every character he plays will die - a lot of British tv and films he's starred in don't end in his death.
But, I don't think he's the VA for Blackwall, no matter how awesome that would be!

So you think they'd reveal Blackwall's VA sometime this month, right? Since all the other VA's were revealed last month. I mean, they couldn't have just forgotten about it... Especially not with people bugging them over Twitter about it.
