Who I wouldn't like to see return: Fenris still complaining about being a slave despite being free for a decade and doing nothing worth while with it. 

 

Drinking fine wine and beating up crooks in his spare time seems like a life he rather enjoys.

I'm most interested in Blackwall and Cole.

 

The character I don't really like is Viv, not a big fan of her attitude and she gives off a bad vibe. I'm not sure she's entirely trustworthy.

 

Not to say she's a bad character, I think she's fairly interesting. But from my Quizzy's perspective she's not someone my Quizzy could trust or like.

I'd certainly like to see Oghren and Sigrun, have a trio of funny dwarves.
Shale's another favourite, along with Sten; so, both of them.
Velanna was one of my favourite companions(Even though she was a knife-ear.), so definitely her.
I didn't like Nathaniel, but I certainly didn't hate him; so I'd be alright with him returning.
Merril was my favourite companion, period(Even though she's a knife-eared blood mage.); so her.
I'd definitely like to see Isabella, but only if Aveline comes too, and vice-versa.
I'd like to see Sebastian, I liked him.

Fenris, Zevran, and Alistair can suck on railroad spikes.
I do want to see Anders again, so I can re-kill him.

As we are going to see the return of Morrigan, Alistair and Leliana (and most likely Sandal and his papa), I have to say that I'd certainly like to see Sten again.  I didn't overtly care much for Zevran, and because it has been confirmed (I think?) that he will not be appearing in DAI then that's cool with me.  I don't mind about whether seeing Shale but as she is also not confirmed to be in DAI also.  As for Wynne well, we know that's not going to happen. And as for Oghren...well, I didn't really care for him that much, so hope to not see him again.

 

From DA:A

 

I really hope we get to see Sigrun.  I loved her character a lot and always had her in my party.  I didn't care much for Velanna, so if she appears in DAI then its a meh for me.  As for Nathaniel...well...we saw him (depending on choices) in DA2.  I don't really want to see him again. 

 

From DA2.

 

I certainly would like to see Aveline and Isabela again.  Also Sebastian, if he actually went to get his army.  As for Fenris.  I don't mind seeing him.  If he shows up but as it has been confirmed (I think?) that he won't be showing up, then that's fine.  I really hope that we don't see Merril but I have a feeling that she'll show up at some point.

Evangeline and Rhys!!!  I love them and I want Cole to find them again and be friends.  As he needs friends. 

 

Personally don't care if we see Adrian or Fiona.  Although it is probably likely that they will be in the game.

There are so many I'd love to see again. Tallis, Evangeline, Fiona, Ariane and Bethany. Those are probably the big ones. I did leave the confirmed ones out, though.

I'm definitely anti-elf.
I can like a person's(Or in the case of an elf, "Thing's".) personality in spite of their racial handicap.

Morrigan and Leliana don't count because they've been confirmed already, otherwise I'd have included them on my 'want' list.

 

Want:

-Aveline (one of my favorite DA2 companions. Loved her caring, big sister type attitude, voice and overall demeanor)

-Fenris (favorite LI/male companion of the DA series so far)

-Isabela (one of the most fun companions, hopefully doesn't get the Anders treatment for whatever reason)

-Sigrun (seriously underrated)

 

If I had to pick one I'd go with Isabela given her significance to the Qunari in DA2 or Fenris just because I adore him.

 

Do Not Want:

-Anders (DA2 ruined him for me. He's better off dead or somewhere off the map of Thedas) 

 

I'd add Alistair to that list but he's confirmed. At least he can be an exiled drunk, remain with the Wardens or dead.

Somehow the idea of sitting on my throne and giving orders to execute him would give me some satisfaction.

Pretty much almost all returning characters leaving 3-4 returning characters no preferences here save for not seeing tallis , but also i would love if they simple left most overused characters like leliana or alistair or cullen as they tend go with camera to next protagonist.

I would like to see Loghain, I'm sure he won't appear though. I'm glad Zevran isn't in it, I find him hard to like.

DA:A - Velanna (I actually really liked her), Sigrun ('nuff said), Nathaniel (would mostly just like to see what he looks like in Frostbite 3)

 

DA:2 - Fenris (favorite LI/companion in the DA series), Aveline (I just think she's amazing)

 

If I had to pick just one companion I'd go with Fenris because I absolutely love him.

 

Do Not Want:

 

DA:O - Loghain (Killed him, so he definitely shouldn't show up lol), Oghren

 

DA:A - Oghren

 

DA:2 - Anders (Killed him as well, and I just don't like him), TALLIS (TALLIS  )

 

If I had to pick one to not show up as well? Probably Anders or Tallis.

 

Oghren counts twice. Totally. I guess Tallis counts because she was a companion for (thankfully) about 5 minutes.

I want: Zevran. He's my fav companion of all time and still he's only LI from DAO that's not going to appear in the Inquisition. I'd like to have him as one of agents of Inquisition. He could work in the Leliana's team and assassinate threats.

 

Wade & Herren: I don't think we can have funnier blacksmith than this couple. Sadly it's confirmed that they aren't in DAI.

 

I don't want: Oghren. I can't stand his character and his jokes that are supposed to be funny. He has probaply died in the alcoholism in the time of DAI so I'm not too worried of seeing him.

 

DA:A:

 

I want: Sigrun. I want to see how this badass dwarf lady is doing! She would be great addition in the army. Nathaniel, I want to see how he's doing. Maybe he's working with Alistair with Ferelden and Grey Warden business since they both are nobles and gw's and Warden's is away.

 

I don't want: Velanna. Another person who I can't simply stand. I don't even know why I don't like her but I can't stand her at all!

 

DA2:

 

I want: Sebastian. I hope he has taken over Starkhaven. He could prove to be strong ally, or then enemy of the Inquisition. I'd love to see Fenris with him since he offered him to train his army in the Starkhaven.

 

I don't want: Everyone can return.

I want to see Sandal, Varric and Alistair.

 

Edit: Oh, and Tallis- definitely don't want to see Tallis ever again.

I most want to see Fenris, though not separate from Hawke if I'm importing from the Keep a Fenris romance playthrough If I'm importing a romance, then he better be with Hawke!!!

 

Mostly I want to see what he looks like in the new engine and also to see what he's up to!

 

I'd love to see Isabela; she's a favorite.

 

I'm least interested in seeing Oghren; I do hope he's gone on his Calling *hides*

DA2: Anders, Isabela, and Aveline and maybe Fenris. 

 

i never got the Exiled Prince DLC for Sebastian, but I understand that he declares revenge for the destruction of the Chantry. It would be cool to see him come back with an army.

To be fair. The "Who's who" aren't particularly non important lore characters. The people we've teamed up with in the past games have been extremely important and influential people in Thedas.So it's expected to hear from them in other games.
