The customization looks awesome :)

I hope there is this level of variance in story choices and interactions!

Wait, 30 mounts? I was not expecting 30. Hopefully it's not just 10 different shades of 3 different creatures.

But 5 million combinations for Skyhold?

Whoa.

I think I may have been underestimating that place.

Commented the same thing on Facebook, but it deserves to be re-uttered: THIRTY mounts?!  I've never been so excited about having so many options for something to go betwixt my thighs!

While that number is technically true, it's not really relevant.

It sound gigantic, but that's the only reason it is in there.

An example. I now make a game were you can customize a place with an evil or good variant of everything.

So you basically have two types of that place. One evil, one good.

Now let's market this:

2 choices for beds, 2 choices for tables, 2 choices for chairs, 2 choices for drapes, 2 choices for doors, 2 choices for chests, 2 choices for throne, 2 choices for small tables, 2 choices for walls, 2 choices for Gates, 2 choices for Anvils, 2 choices for workbenches, 2 choices for shelfs, 2 choices for weapon racks, 2 choices for armor stands, 2 choices for gardens, 2 choices for benches, 2 choices for couches, 2 choices for small windows, 2 choices for medium windows, 2 choices for big windows, 2 choices for cathedralic windows, 2 choices for bar stools, 2 choices for window color.

2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 = 2 ^ 24 = 16777216.

Over 16 million combinations!

What is essentially 2 types of the same place.

Don't get me wrong, i am not criticising Inquisition here and it sounds like we will get more customisation options than i expected, i just don't like these inflatual number games to make things look better than they are.

I won't be surprised if there are people that will spend more time in crafting and customizing than the time to play the game from beginning to end. Of course there's nothing wrong with that.

3 class, 9 specialisations = 3 specialisations in each class

7 skill tree's meaning 2.33 skill trees per specialisation

DOES NOT ROUND!  :o

Ummm....7 skill trees for each class could mean 4 general and one each for the specialization.  If you use your logic, considering you have to earn your specialization, you would have access to NO skill trees until you got your specialization...

Well, looks like I'm going to be playing the game forever just trying to find all those weapon and armor schematics. I hope we don't have to relay on random drop/loot to find some.

There was a parody trailer of Diablo 3 that said something like: "Fight your way through countless enemy types, like demons, bigger demons and 30 colours of imps!"

P.S: The 150 armor types is written in red to signify extra bulldung and number fiddling.

Crafting & customization by the numbers. What do you want to customize first? #MyInquisition

Wait they're touting ability and class customisation as a feature when they've reduced the amount of customisation and options in this area from the previous games?

Well, it's still a lot more than most games out there.

Not really, true they've reduced the number of abilities and weapon styles available but the customization options are vastly improved everywhere else.

150 Armors? As nice as that sounds, I bet most of them will be reskins with different stats.

You mean say like in crafting? I know they have, I'm talking purely about abilities. IMHO its a pity that with customisation being such a big selling point for DAI that they have reduced customisation in the major part of the game, it being still largely driven by combat. And in their marketing they're being disingenuous about it.

The sheer amount of things we can customize is rather amazing!

(Can we perhaps get a bigger screenshot of the female human and female elf inquisitors that are shown here? They are rather awesome looking! Also, it looks like that particular female human inquisitor in Matt Rhodes' concept arts has made it into the game as a preset!)

In terms of focusing the class roles, eliminating stuff like Warrior Archer or Dual Wield, sure that's true, but in terms of abilities it's not.

DAI technically has more abilities than both previous titles. DAO, not counting DLC and non-PC skill trees, had 192 talents/spells available to the player. Meanwhile DA2 had 180 Spells/Talents/Upgrades. DAI has over 200 Spells/Talents/Upgrades available to the player. So while technically the number of active abilities is less compared to DAO, which had very few passives and pretty much no upgrades, the overall number of choices available to the player per level has increased, not decreased in DAI.
