I don't care so much about not having enough pack space, but having to destroy the items, rather than just drop them and come back for them, is ludicrous.
Yes, the sex scenes with the weird underwear still on is actually much more disturbing than seeing a boob or two, in my opinion. Come on. How did the ultra-sexualized women in the game suddenly become so modest...totally unbelievable. Leave out the soap opera montage altogether if it is so risque, or at least stay true to the characters. Very poor choice, Bioware.
Also, if I never hear the words, "Enchantment?....ENCHANTMENT!" again for the rest of my life, I'll die happy.
What do you want to see improved/added in Dragon Age 2?

The gameplay, it's very flawed. Limit health pots, limit crafting, nerf classes for balance.
Also, make the game less obviously structured. No contrived presents, no collect people at camp like Pokemon.

More legends, stories. And more races.

1) Co-Op. This was the biggest complaint that many had about the game when it first came out. Luckily for them the game was great enough that it stood on its own merits, but if they could effectively implement co-op play it would be absolutely HUGE for the game's popularity, replay value, and all-out FUN value.
2) I less lengthy "tutorial/intro" stage. Making a new character was just excruciating for me eventually. I didnt want to go through the whole "here is duncan, he is going to invite you to the grey wardens after some cataclysmic event that is about to happen. Then you will spend an hour doing the the intro missions before you can start choosing your own path".
3) The player's class and race choice having more impact on what happens in each stage of the story. I wanted to play the game through multiple times with different classes/races.. but since every little "quest hub" in the game was basically the same experience all over again.. it became very monotonous at times...especially if there was one or two of the hubs that you didnt find very entertaining.
Example: Redcliff castle.
A mage character would be focused on the appearance of undead and demons. They would have to seek the assistance of other mages in the redcliff area to form a barrier, containing the undead enemies. Then perform a teleportation ritual to gain access into the barrier and seek out the source of the issue.
A warrior would approach the issue much as it was approached in DA:O.. fighting off the attack and then storming the castle.
A rogue would contact the other roguish types in Redcliff, seeking information and discover an underground network that they could use to sneak into the castle. While the undead are attacking the village, the Rogue would make their way to the castle garrison, freeing the Arl's trapped soldiers so that they could attack the undead enemies from behind and save the village while the Rogue and their party found the source of the problem.
The same situation approached 3 different ways.. much more entertaining. If Co-Op was available.. it would also be great if the team could decide which path to take.. or possibly even split up if desired and attack the problem from two different angles.
4) A "Priest" class. I know that this is a bit generic.. after all we have Warrior, Rogue, and Mage.. obviously adding the priest is just going to complete the Ho-Hum list of everyday fantasy classes. However, I think that it could truly add a lot to the game to have a priest class capable of speccing into a melee templar type role.. with heals and heavy armor and buffs... or a holy caster role.. with heals and DD and buffs.. or a Hermit/Druid role.. with medium armor, staves, and a heals and utility/Melee DPS type role.
There was no cleric in this game.. and it has always been my favorite class type. I think a lot of people missed having that Paladin/Durable Healer class to choose from.
5. A new take on Tanking. Tanking is great.. its useful.. it can even be fun to do..but it can also be really boring. It would be great if things like taunt and threaten were removed.. and instead warriors who specced to tank became very disruptive fighters. Instead of focusing on holding aggro, the tank would instead be focused on aoe knockdowns, slows, stuns, and being a huge impediment to the enemy so that they are UNABLE to attack the squishy classes, no matter how bad they want to. This has dual benefits. For one.. it makes the class more entertaining to play, and for two..it makes the class more awesome. Nothing beats a big heavy armored guy tossing people around and showing just how brutally strong he is.
6. Lastly.. an expanded tactics system. It would be great if you could have multiple triggers for an ability. Like if I could tell my 2h warrior to use Pommel Strike on my player character's target if my character is incapacitated, but only if the enemy attacking my character is elite or higher. That would be 3 modifiers.
Enemy - Elite or Higher
Enemy - Attacking controlled character
Player - incapacitated
Things like that.

I like the game just the way it is for the most part. I do have to agree, more bags to buy and the book skill and sundry. If I've got the gold to buy those books, then I want the chance to buy them. At least add one more.
I think the crafting is just fine the way it is. It's easy, I'd just like to be able to do this in camp. I'd like to see party drink and eat together instead of Oghren getting all the booze.

* Although i like the dog i would like to see other pets like a draggling or a wolf.
* Better character Backrounds with every single origin whether it be a human dwarf or elf you have that 5 to ten minutes and then the rest of the game is the same, like for the human story maybe get intel about the castle and sneak in and get some of your parents belongings.
*More weapons, DAO has a great variety but maybe through in a flail or different staffs or iron fists.
*Better customization like for cloths have cooler tunics like Duncuns.
* lastly i would love to see fractions like riots between elfs and dalish or elfs and the castle. Or mages and blood mages wasnt as good as it could be. the only decent one was the dwarves.

How about text that I can read in the menus? Yes, seriously... I have a 30-something-inch TV, eyes that can read the bottom of a opticians eye test and I still have to sit in the middle of the room to read the damn plot information and weapon stats. Guess I should have bought the PC version, not the XBox one as the XBox is a sloppy conversion of this PC game IMHO.

I'd like to see mounts, I think it'd be really cool to see your heavy armour warriors charging through darkspawn ranks and seeing them fly all over the place from the impact hehehe. Plus, it'd really help in getting around.
And I think for the warrior and rogue classes they should have a heavy attack, light attack, and block system. Might need to remove some other componenets of the game in order to make this work, but I think it'd be a really huge improvement cause in your duel with loghain, especially if you're a warrior or a rogue. I just found it really stale when after you use your abilities, you'd have to wait for the end of the cooldown of those abilities, while just watching your character randomly hitting & blocking Loghain.
For enchanting weapons & armor, I'd really like to see the rune designs appear on the outer surface of the items.
VOICE! During the conversations, I'd really like to hear the replies chosen voiced out by your character. I just don't think its enough to only hear your character's voice when you command him/her during free-roam or during battle.
If there will be a dog companion, I don't think it should take up an individual slot as a companion, but rather its own smaller slot with the main character. This would be similar to the animals summoned by the ranger class, in that they don't take up a companion slot, but have their own.
I'd also really like to see color customizations with your armor & clothing. I don't honestly believe that the metal type should be the determining factor of the color scheme of your armor.
And definately better graphics for the gameplay should be introduced.
And I'd really like to see all of your companions with their own unique special ability in combat, that can't be taught to another, so it exclusive only to themself. Cause I didn't really find the whole idea of Morrigan being the only shapeshifter in your party is what makes her unique, since afterall, with her approval, you can make yourself, if you're a mage, or Wynne a shapeshifter as well. I think it'd be great cause it would really balance the uniqueness of each individual party member in combat, rather than having it solely on their personality and perspectives.

all i'd want is continuity with your choices in DA:O/awakening. Not every little thing, but putting real effort into it and making sure all the choices you made that were remotely significant alter the way the game plays out. I'd be pretty dissapointed if DA2 went the way of a game like KOTOR, where it's an entirely new character/storyline in the same world. Gameplay, graphics etc are nothing compared with storyline, people became attached to your characters & their own adjustments to the storylne thanks to your fantastic character development during the game and it'd really be a shame if that's all thrown out the window or we're only given brief cameos of extremely important characters from the original game.

No thanks! I like to see my char's real head not the same helmets in every game, otherwise what is the point of tweaking one's char's head if one never sees it?

Specialization options for Mages. Talents (or skills) like Fire Mastery that would increase the effeciveness of all Fire spells.
The spellcasting system could use some work too. I find it odd that you can spam Fireball+Cone of Cold+Lightning in rapid succession but not 3 Fireballs. A universal cooldown system would be better. Casting a spell should trigger ALL individual cooldowns of spells but with a cap of the cooldown of the spell that was cast. And then there should be an arcane skill called Power Surge that would eliminate the next X cooldowns so that you could in fact spam Fireballs in rapid succession. And cause some weakness afterwards.
So basically after casting a higher tier spell, you wouldn't be able to cast another higher tier spell soon but you could cast lower tier spells while the cooldown would be running. I think it would work if the higher tier cooldowns wouldn't be too long. The cool thing would be that powerful combo spells like Storm of the Century would require the use of something like the Power Surge mentioned above.
Or the cooldowns for spells could be eliminated altogether and casting be moderated by casting times and mana instead. With most spells having increased casting times. Now that I think of it, I actually would prefer this approach. The cooldowns just seem like a needless mess when you already have casting times and mana. And I would like the option of casting the same spell over and over and over again if need be.

That is called mana drain;) Well may be cool down by school will be ok, but I like to cast spells as fast I can so that system does not sound that fun to me:unsure:
