Now that the ISS is live, we want to hear your thoughts! This thread is the place for all your ISS-related discussion, so please use it to report any issues with the feature, bugs, requests, comments, questions (I could go on forever). Please note that the ISS is still being refined - here are some problems you may encounter for the time being: 

• The ISS may change your heroes/choices (hero from female to male) - please play on a World State you're okay messing with. We're working on fixing this right now - there are a few logic errors.
• The ISS may have a long load time. Don't worry if it doesn't start playing right away. 
• You may accidentally hear your heroes' gender and/or origin in the ISS referred to incorrectly.
• Those using a PS4 or Internet Explorer 9 browser are currently unable to edit plots via the ISS. 
• The ISS is not working in Internet Explorer 10, if you use this browser it will crash. 
• Some users may have issues viewing the ISS on tablets and mobile devices. 
• It may not play the entire ISS (encompassing both Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II). 
• If you can't click the play button, clearing your cookies/cache should make the ISS available. 

We're working on resolving these and will post updates as things get fixed. In the meantime, let us know your thoughts!

Hi all, thanks for all the feedback so far! You're really on top of things (we love you for it). Just a few notes: 

• The lovely Brian Mills is currently running the ISS on about 8 different browsers/devices to find and help us fix issues. 
• Art is not yet final. 
• We are aware it's a tad loud and are working on adjusting this - among other things.

I'm aware of that, and it's a suggestion I've already submitted regarding the Tapestry. I just thought it bears repeating, given that this is new feature and the problem persists. They managed to animate the story of DA2 without showing Hawke, so I think that should be a possibility for the Warden as well.

We're working on making the Warden/Hawke's more representative across the DA Keep. What we reeeally want to do is create a fun little 2D avatar creator so your Warden and Hawke are exactly how you'd like them to show up, however we still have lots to do to get ready for DA:I shipping so for now we're looking at a few easier options.

Sadly, I am yet to get a full play through. I'm onto attempt #3 and it's stalled in the opening of DA2 this time. The background music keeps playing (mostly), but the narration and the visuals have gone entirely. I know I'm using an older set up, but I also know I won't be the only one.

 

Is this an issue of minimum system requirements needed to be able to view it fully? If so, can a 'slow connection/ low res' option be made available at all?

Humm, do you want to file a quick bug for us from the DAK so we can grab extra info about your set-up? We haven't done the "performance" pass yet and Brian is currently trying to isolate browsers/devices that are having issues so we can fix what's troubling most people.

Yep, we're going to continue to update the DA Keep after Inquisition ships and continue to support all you awesome people and your DA stories.

I am unable to load into the tapestry at all.  I tried to push the ISS button and a banner popped up saying "This will be implemented very soon!" (something to that effect), so I logged out to get the update, and now it is sitting on the tapestry background, and I am unable to navigate anywhere from there.

 

I cleared cache on computer, and waited for quite some time (unsure of how long tapestry would take to load), but it doesn't actually load.

 

I get the background with the globe button on the right, and the tapestry button on the left, but neither are pressable.  I am unable to submit feedback, because the feedback button does not load.  I am currently on a Samsung Chromebook, running Chrome.  (I don't know how to check the specs of this thing).

 

(I'm not sure any additional information that may be required.)

 

Sounds like you're not seeing the update yet... Could you try logging in/logging out (dragonagekeep.com/logout), then make sure to reset cookies/clear cache or use private browsing (incognito mode)?

It's not working for me on Firefox. I just get "this feature is under development." What am I doing wrong?

 

Hello! Try logging in and out (dragonagekeep.com/logout) and make sure you've cleared your browser cache. Then you should be all good

Thanks everyone for taking the time to comment on the ISS, it's a huge help to us! We're closing this thread as we're now going to wade through all the issues we need to fix, but we'll be opening up some new and exciting discussions for you all tomorrow.
