Apparently another persistent bug along with the mage turning into an elf(?): If you picked any of the dark ritual options, it shows as if the Warden themselves went through the ritual, regardless of gender (tried with human female mage that was changed into a male elf, and a female cousland queen).

Also it switched Zevran to dead for some reason? Noticed it in multible world states.

Also if you picked a rogue Warden, it shows you as a warrior (could be intentional I suppose? Happened with my male dalish elf, casteless dwarf, and cousland queen).

Haven't had any crashes except for the first time I went through the ISS. On Firefox.

Overall, the story looks great. Is this the final version (minus the bugs) or will more plot points be added before release?

Some bugs I found:

  • Doesn't play all the way through in Chrome I tried it 3x and it quit in different locations each time. Right before it stops playing it seems to be confused regarding plot choice, since I see them all displayed consecutively, without narration.
  • Played all the way through in Firefox on the first try, but was a bit choppy.
  • It sounds like I was supposed to see buttons come up during the story, I didn't in either Chrome or Firefox.
  • It played about half way through on my Kindle HDX, fairly smoothly, but I couldn't control the volume and it was pretty loud.
  • The DA2 prologue part showed Meeran (sp?) instead of Athenril (sp?), but correctly said that Hawke worked for the smugglers.
  • Unless this is some new form of blood magic, I don't think my female warden could have impregnated Morrigan.

Suggestions:

  • As a few others have mentioned, the transition from DAO to DA2 could use some work, though if more plot points are being added it would explain why it's so jarring right now.
  • A pause button and subtitles would be great.
  • Music was a bit too loud compared to the dialog.
  • Would be nice if there was a full screen option for the PC (I could see it in full screen on my Kindle)

It doesn't looks like playing the story changed any of my plot choices, but I have that world state locked, so that could have something to do with it. I'll try it with another world state and see how that goes.

Referring to the bolded: I was having the same issue on Chrome until I unlocked my world state before playing the ISS.  Does this fix the problem at all for you? D:

Thanks for the tip. I'll find out in a few minutes. I'm almost done editing another world state and will check with that one.

Hunnnh. If only this were released on the weekend! Do want. May not be able to post thoughts until then. <_<

Yup, same here. I love what I've seen, though. No major bugs other than the ones that have been previously reported. Of course, you could add a video of Varric doing a slow striptease while he recounts the events of the Tapestry but somehow I think the answer will come back "Thank you for your feedback but as this is outside the scope of the Dragon Age Scenario we cannot implement your suggestion."  XD

I'm just gonna say for now that I LOVE the ISS!

It played flawlessly till the end, even on chrome and I didn't noticed bugs.

As others have already said, the only little things that need tweaking in my opinion is the DA:O -> DA2 transition.

I'll test it more deeply in the next few days, just wanted to say that it's a really cool feature. Good job Keep team!

So I'm using Chrome and the ISS looks really great, but my problems go from whole dialogue being skipped to just a few words, and then I also did not have the edit button. Then for everyone else it is choppy when it plays, but where it crashed for me...none of my choices seemed to had been changed. So I guess I am lucky, lol!

People have mostly said what I wanted to say so far: Pause button, please! And subtitles would also be very welcome. I also didn't have any bugs on my first "watchthrough" on Firefox, but I did notice issues with skipping dialogue in my second "watchthrough," but I was also playing Civ at the same time, so I didn't report any bugs because I think it may have been CPU load issues.

Other than that, there's not much for me to add, but I wanted to throw my voice in for subtitles. Things are looking great, devs! Thank you!

I had the problem of it saying my warden did the dark ritual, and when I backed out  to the tapestry it had actually changed my female dalish rogue to a male one.

Also the same with showing a warrior, but they still called her a hunter, so I wasn't too worried about it.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to comment on the ISS, it's a huge help to us! We're closing this thread as we're now going to wade through all the issues we need to fix, but we'll be opening up some new and exciting discussions for you all tomorrow.

Thank you again for your feedback, and expect to see more changes and improvements soon!
