Yes, your PC is probably going to have to go with barebones minimum settings, but it will still look better than the 360 version.   Your PC still has twice the power output of the 360 hardware.    Personally, I think PC is your best choice.   When you do finally upgrade your to a better system in the future... your PC copy will still work and you can bump up the visuals then.   Your 360 copy will only ever work on the 360.

You won't be able to run the game on high settings... but neither will the 360. Your PC is still more powerful than the 360. I suggest you get it for PC then upgrade when you can afford it.

OP how much money could you spend at max for upgrades?

If I ever get the chance to install Win 7 64 bit version, I'd say no more than 80€ to add more RAM. A new video card would require at least 150€. Which I'm not sure if I can get those before December :)

Updates: my processor actually supports 32-bit versions only, so that means changing the CPU too :-\

Yeah they said next week will be a lot of announcements

I'm guessing you havent visited scuttlebut in the past week?

Been largely avoiding it, due to serious story spoilers in there as well as in the Lore forums.

OP, you are going to have real trouble running DAI on your current PC. Your version of Windows is 32-bit and you only have a 1Gb graphics card. Simpy not going to cut it. You'd be lucky to get 30 frames per second on the lowest graphics settings.

Unless you are bent on playing with keyboard and mouse, I would recommend you rather get it for your console.

Or buy a new gaming PC if you have the money.

The 1GB of vram in and of itself isn't damning, I have a 1GB GTX 560 and I can run Battlefield 4 on medium - high (mostly high, only AA off and I think some of the HBAO options at medium) at 1920*1080 and still get between 40-50 fps.

That being said, I do think the 5700 (Actually which GPU is it specifically OP? The 5700 is the whole series) might be a bit weaker and so it might struggle, though I don't think lowest of the low is the best case scenario.

There were story spoilers? Huh.
