Hmm...I was thinking about this while I was taking my dog on a walk.
I'm thinking the Dalish armor and robes (The open feet ones I'm hoping for
) will operate similar to the Grey Warden armor (Ie: Faction armors)

if you want to be serious i do know a lot about Elven lore in Norse and Galic mythology. while i admit to not being an expert im no Dunning Kruger either.
i simply view the bare footed Elf as an exploitable weak spot.
Sabatons serve a purpose on armour. i have no qualms whith it for mages nor do i have Podophobia it is simply an aestetic i am not fond of.
