Seriously, it's designed to do massive internal damage if the wielder IS SWALLOWED.

Only the Krogan would plan for that eventuality, everyone else would lack the quad to even RISK getting swallowed!

Isn't it obvious? Just put the Claymoar in one hand, and the Graal in the other.

Then in a generations time they'll grow another pair of arms and you can put the Striker in those.

Any Krogan with a quad uses his own head as a hammer. The ones that need gigantic hammers are merely covering their weaknesses...

The Graal was originally a krogan office tool.*  During the great layoff war of Kr.1252-59 it was gradually optimized into the modern weapon you see today.  Is it a really large stapler?  Yes.  Is that a relevant distinction to the stapled?  No.  Either way, krogan weapon.

 

The Claymore -- while it may not be the only solution -- is legitimately a solution to every problem.  It's an answer to every question and will win every argument, even with itself. 

 

These truths are not unequal.  Therefor both.

According to the weapons descriptions, it's the Graal (since the Claymore is of human design) but, for me, the CLAYMOOAARR will be always THE krogan weapon.

Not from melee point of view.. Think of the massive concussions it'll cause smacking that gun on enemy's head .... well unless m90 cain was available..

 

It now occurs to me that it might be worth putting the Spitfire on a Batarian JUST for the light melee animation!

Y no love for the one true Krogan Spectator!?! This guy just smashes all the enemies (edit: read mooks) into the ground, and he can headbutt enemies, and do the melee combo that puts all the MLB pros to shame. What's not to like?

Head, Scorpion, and grenades. Head because it is better than any gun, scorpion with stunner and power amp because I can take whatever I want from whoever I want, and grenades because I like grenades. But Graal is also an acceptable option.

Yep, hammer is not bad. It gives me additional protection from behind. But my gun is Black Widow. I'm a krogan after all. Silent, intelligent. I don't need all that dirt -- meleeing, headbutting, blood everywhere...

Krogan Vanguard is most effective with a lightweight gun that doesn't need to be reloaded. Collector SMG + power amplifier + Incendiary Ammo + Power Efficiency Module is the way to go! Shoot, light'em up, Biotic Charge, Fire Explosion, Heavy melee rinse repeat. By the time you're done with your Biotic Charge & melee your gun is reloaded. Lancer works really well too.

 

I used to use the Piranha before the Collector SMG was released & I wasted more time reloading than anything else. RELOADING SUCKS!!! Thermal clips were the worst addition to this game. What were they thinking? I tried the Reegar too but I didn't like constantly reloading. 

 

As for the other Krogan, I never use them so I don't know.

Melee-specced KroGuard with a Raider + Omni-balde is tonsafun.
