Triple tap light, the last one is the swing but has the same effect as the normal heavy, and uses a charge. (IIRC)
As crashsuit says, triple tap light melee is first headbutt, then right to left forehand hammer, finally left to right backhand hammer. The last one uses a charge.
A few bonuses of using the triple light melee instead of the single hammer slam:
1. Some stuff (mooks) dies on the second tap, so you can save using a charge on them.
2. It sounds and feels (through the controller feedback) much better.
3. Because it takes longer, you get the melee DR for longer.
4. You accumulate CP for melee and the biotic hammer at the same time.

It was my understanding that the DR from heavy melee attacks is of limited duration and doesnt always match with the actual length of the attack. I.e. It's possible that the warlord's DR doesnt extend through his whole three hit attack.

That could easily be the case in this madly inconsistent game, and if I have spread misinformation I will play Geth on Condor three times in a row as penance. (Oh, wait, that happens even when I've been good!
)
Anecdotally, it seems to me that I'm not losing very much in the way of shields as long as I keep hammering on the Prime in front of me. i do know that I found the KroLord to be much more survivable once I stopped using the single heavy melee and made it habit to use the triple tap light melee.
A bonus I forgot to mention is the way that some enemies fly on the third swing. I managed to land a Marauder onto the roof of the building in front of the LZ on Giant last week. amazingly, he was alive - one health bar - when he slid back down and landed at my feet half a minute later. A quick headbutt fixed that though.

Graal...
1: it's a purely Krogan weapon
2: it's made for hunting Thrasher Maws
3: you don't need to make any kind of trade-off when sticking an omni-blade on it
4: it goes THUNK!
5: firing it mid-charge doesn't interrupt your sprint so you can go straight into a Krogan happy-backhand
6: MmmmwwwWWRRAAAAAahahahHAhahHahhahahahh!
7: it looks like this:
The Claymore is a gun made by Humans FOR Krogan - it's a close second but it's no Graal.
Definitely Terran design here (it's practically got an N7 logo on it):
ME2 wiki citation on Claymore:
Very rare krogan shotgun. Deals high damage at short range; less effective at long range. Effective against armor, shields and biotic barriers. It is of human design but is only used by krogan, due to the fact that the kickback from a single shot has enough force to break a human's arm. Protected by Fabrication Rights Management (FRM) technology, this weapon is nearly impossible to reproduce and is prohibitively expensive.

I was standing in almost exactly that same spot, but I sent the Marauder on a trajectory slightly to the right of that one, so he landed on the roof instead of going off the map. My subconscious was obviously trying to replicate the GIF ![]()

I enjoy the reaction of the adjacent hunter. Some players will tell you that's from the force of the impact, but I think we're witnessing a collective wincing of the geth consciousness.

I got a nice reaction on that very map at that very spot yesterday by a teammate. It was Geth 4 enemy targets and the 2nd target was a rocket trooper. I ran up and did a grab on him at that very spot as he was hiding behind the cover. A teammate says with great enthusiasm "Did you see that! He did a grab on the target!"
(Ha! I quoted myself.....good going butt head!)
