A young, scatterbrained, dwarf or quanri (I can't decide) cook. They are a little inexperienced and skittish, because the old one died violently and mysteriously. If you keep bringing him/her fresh ingredients from the city, your party will get a +1 to a random stat.

An murderous cheese wheel possessed by the spirit of an ancient Tevinter Magister.
You mean the Archon Wensleydale, a magister notorious for his love of murder and cheese, who history remembers as the man who first brought stinky cheeses to Orlais and his assassination via a slice of poisoned Brie?

I'd go with a stern female Qunari armsmaster who is obsessive over the care shown by Inquisition soldiers to their weapons, sometimes seen yelling at a bunch of soldiers returning from a mission because they didn't put their weapons in the correct location or that they set them down while getting out of the armor or really anything of the sort. I'd add a lot of dialogue about how she hates how half the party and the Inquisitor never show their weapons the proper care claiming that Varric really understands to take care of his weapon, constantly polishing and such.

Pretty sure it's Brie. Though I'd personally go with a naturally pungent cheese in order to cover the poison, much cheaper that way and more likely to hit it's target.

Corrected! I'm clearly not as much of a connoisseur of fine cheeses! ![]()

A former Dalish elf, who now works as a gardener for the inquisistion. He stays there most of the time, making him a bit of a loner, but he does give you good alchemy supplies.
There maybe even would be a small sidestory that plays out if you visit him often eanough, where he actualy opens up to the other people in Skyhold? ![]()

A Qunari quartermaster/blacksmith that was a merc that traveled with Bull since the beginning. Him and Bull are the only two left from the original group. he's stern and doesnt particularly trust humans and has a severe dislike for anything tevinter and also strangely inquisitive about darkspawn. Has Gray(with a tint of pink) skin and Ram like horns. one horn has a piercing (hoop) dangling off. assortment of small facial scars. He's stocky but about the height of a tall human. But By no means as tall as Bull.
-or-
Former Tevinter mage apprentice (male). whose whole family was killed by a Qunari raid except his sister who was taken and forced to take the qun. Has curly brown hair. and has a Mediterranean look about him. Green eyes. good lad who really just aims to please. Hates the idea of the Circle and thinks its a mages responsibility to protect their family and guide the younger mages to the right path and thinks as blood magic as a cowards magic. He also hates qunari and has a blood feud against them.

A Spirit bound to a suit of armor. And that is all. There is nothing within the suit. The Spirit is bound to the armor via Lyrium and simply fights as such. Those who are more creative than me feel free to expand upon this.

I'd say Bianca as a technologist. She'll build things like bombs, repeating crossbows, and turrets. She was being held by the Carta and forced to build mechanized weapons for them. Varric, noticing similarities in design between the weapons the Carta was wielding and his own, figures out that the real Bianca is still alive.
