you are right there are definitely much worse forums
BUT thats not saying much because there is trolling and insulting everywhere on the internet

Sometimes it's fun.
I've actually garnered a sense of humour from coming here. And my English improved dramatically as a result of all the arguing.
I'm sure if I appeared in 4chan I'd still be typing like some nut-bag who just left Arkham Asylum,
I took like a 2 year hiatus from this board after ME3. It was not pretty. I thought the DA2 backlash was bad, but I weathered that storm. ME3 was… something else entirely.
I did too. It got pretty toxic here.
ME3 was...scary.
Let's hope it never gets that bad again.

ME3 was a result of a lot of headaches from arguing in circles.
It was funny though.
It was like we we're arguing on who disliked the game more xD
No trolls at all.
Discussions done in a fairly matter.
People tend to be nice and helpfull.
Almost everybody shares a good deal of love for this game.
If they could rate forums i'd give it a 9 and i just don't hand them out that simple. Call of duty and battlefield forums could learn from this, but what am I comparing.
Anyhow how do you feel about these forums? Are we on the interwebs right now? Not used to this mature manner.
I agree, these forums are super friendly and are my favorite by far. Every now and again things can get super-heated, but I see that as people caring a lot and not as trolling. If you haven't been to the off-topic "Lobby" come on down, lots of fun to be had around those parts

It had something to do with all the insulting on a few of the character romance threads. From my understanding it started in the Miranda thread and got worse. Fortunately the threads are back open for people to post something about their favorite character

I'm not saying it was. I didn't realize it was that bad till after the threads were locked. And besides that, Miranda is my favoerite squadmate, so it sucked that it was locked even if I only post in that thread a few times. You're right about Chris wanting to lock the threads.
Some threads are truly full of nice people. (And dirty minded people...)

Speaking from experience, most of mine are from talking on other's profiles on BSN and spamming. Post count means nothing.

This actually is one of the better forums I've been on.
Not that I'm saying the BSN isn't toxic mind you. Just that it's slightly less toxic than most other gaming forums.

Be proud of using these toxic forums and retaining your sanity. Other people have mutated into irredeemable mutants from the toxic...
