I'd describe forums without trolls and where everyone feels pretty much the same a pretty toxic place tbh.
Lack of predators or biodiversity is often a sign of over hunting or possibly environmental problems. In similar ways, a forum without trolls and trouble making opinions is often caused by over-moderation and a strong, overpowering, predisposition present.
Indeed, all one needs do is look up various support threads in the dragon age section to see the toxicity skyrocket.
And given the game will release soon, I expect that toxicity to rise, no matter the quality of the game.
