You are obviously wrong. He had hair in his youth or rather in the spring of his adulthood, but then he visited the BSN. He went insane and then pulled out all his hair.

 

Same thing happend to Iron Bull. Looking at all the "ride the bull" threads, he stabbed himself in the eye.

he was surrounded by bandits in the woods. as everyone knows, bandits are a particular type of unhinged. solas had many ideas for a plan of attack; he could burst out in to song a la disney style. a surprisingly choreographed musical could surely have gotten him out of the situation. but alas, he had always been a bit tone deaf. he quickly decided in another course of action. turning the bandits in to a pile of ash would have been quite messy and who wants to deal with that? leave some poor sod just taking a stroll to clean up te remains, or worse; a lovely couple having a picnic when WHOOSH, bandit ashes in your food. he would have none of that. instead, he caught his luscious locks on fire (which was really quite the spectacle). the bandits, being remarkably slow witted, thought nothing of this. but this was not solas' goal! no. he tilted his head in what could only be describe as smooth as a koala driving stick-shift and caught the sun light just right, the gleaming rays bouncing off his magnificent chrome and in to the retna's of the bandits. they quickly knelt and solas pranced away free, never underestimating the power of a shiny cap ever again.

TLDR; solas don't give a flying fick.

(disclaimer; i may or may not be deprived of sleep and hyped on caffeine trying to get this essay done. i will let you decide.)

No. It's hard to make long hair because of clipping with different style off armour. So All hair is short or no hair at all. But your theory possible to.
