eh, i can wait, it's not really as if the keep itself is a game, so much as it's a tool.

Yes but it looks like a rather fun tool and it could help greatly to pass the time until the games release. Allowing you to set up the world the way you want even doing things you didn't before because you couldn't bring yourself to. Is a tool still a tool if it feels more like a game?

I imagine they are waiting on beta testers to find all the bugs that need to be killed. So anyone getting as Impatient as I am waiting for The Keep to go live? I want to mess with it! All we know is it was maybe supposed to be out a month before Inquisition it's october 3rd, what are we waiting on?

I know they are in the middle of the Friends and Family Beta, and that the game is about two weeks from going gold. Still, if they do let us play with it before launch, it'll probably won't happen until after Halloween. By then, the game will have just over 2 weeks left until launch, which I think would be a perfect time to let us set up our world states. ![]()

Last week of October or first week of November seems feasible

What I would like to know when they stop letting people in beta, so I stop checking my mailbox+spam folder like a paranoic. I signed up for Keep beta on the day signups went live and still nothing. And it's getting more and more frustrating with every wave they let in. I just wish they sent reject email or something, so there was no false hopes that get crushed every week...

It's so awesome. I've never experienced something so life changing. It's so great I'm going to name all my kids after the Keep team.

The Keep is definitely still under development and not ready for the public. Trust me, they're not just sitting on a complete product, twiddling their thumbs and waiting around for the launch date.

Yeah, but we should still have a wave or two before they open it to the public. Maybe Tsunami is a better word, almost all the people who signed up are supposed to be getting keys in the next few weeks, so all we have to do is wait and look pretty. Even if that doesn't happen they know a lot of people are waiting for the Keep and there is little reason to hold it off much longer (I think it's probably mostly complete at this point, as I'm sure they were aiming for an earlier launch).

They said in the twitch stream that there will be a lot more invites going out next week. I dont know if that means it will grow to the 120,000 applicants before being made public

Must agree I signed up early too and still didn't get in and have been waiting as well. So it is very frustrating especially when you really want to use it, all the videos I saw made me want it more.

They did say at the PAX panel that as they get closer to launch, they'll move away from messing with the content and towards testing the server capacity. So they do plan to let in large amounts of people at the end of beta, and hopefully that means everyone who applied will at least get in a little before the general public does.

I'd hope, it's just so hard waiting. As it is we still have about a month and a half for inquistion I was hoping for Keep to tide me over and I'm getting frustrated and impatient.

If you haven't already, you should apply in this thread: http://forum.bioware...a-apply-within/
Keepers are giving out their extra Keep codes to those who apply. A lot of people have gotten in that way (myself included). Go for it!
