Dear Bioware, i, on behalf of vast majority of gentleman, started this topic to ask you to add a certain set of outfits for Inquisitor and the party. And as you may guess from topic title i'm talking about this
Bioware probably didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition; nobody does. 
Man, if they don't have a single character making reference to that skit, I will be very very disappointed.
Also, +1 for the vote on the outfit (with hat). Couldn't you just see Dorian sporting it? I mean, he's already got the 'stach going on..

Oh, I think David Gaider mentioned being sick of this joke.
However, I think failed repetition and clumsy mishandling is the whole essence of the joke, isn't it? It's messing it up constantly and starting back over from the beginning, until everyone is just patiently waiting expectantly for the Spanish Inquisition.
Someone who thinks that you're not supposed to expect the Spanish Inquisition, or get sick of it, just doesn't get the joke.

How hard would it be for some peasant to say 'I didn't expect the Inquisition..' as your party is running past, and then you could jump in and engage them with 'Nobody expect the Inquisition!' and scare him half to death? Blundering lines from all party members is optional but appreciated.

This would be a great easter egg of just an armor set, whatever. Please?
You can already color everyone's outfits, and if you have dorian and solas with you they both wear robes, so its just a matter of finding some robish robes and hats and coloring them red.

What would be even better is that if after you did it the first time, you could keep hamfisting that line into a bunch of different situations, no matter how inappropriate it was, until everyone either started groaning anytime you brought it up or cheerfully going along with it. All depending upon the character.

I would kill for that. 
I want to see Cassandra and Solas sighing with annoyance and tersely trying to get back to the conversation topic, whilst characters like Bull and Sera would back the Inquisitor up with the tomfoolery. Cue many confused and weirded-out citizens.

As much as I'd love to see a Monty Python reference in game, when DAI's title was first released everyone and their brother decided to make a joke about it and I vaguely remember one of the devs getting irritated and saying there would be no reference because everyone was requesting it.

The problem was that people weren't just requesting it, for a while damn near every other post was some variation of nobody will expect the dragon age inquisition.
The joke was funny the first couple times. Time two thousand six hundred and seventy seven? Not so much.
