The Divine had two assassination attempts on her and she showed up, Fiona not showing up because of the same still makes her suspicious

I think she can handle assassination, it can't be harder than a broodmother and she handled that well enough in The Calling.

She's still alive so we can make her Tranquil when we put down the Mage Rebellion.

Gaider confirmed the Alistair and Fiona plotline would happen, so I'd seen that coming for a while.  Wonder if that means there's a higher chance of Rhys and Evangeline being there.  I kinda expected Rhys for a while with Evangeline varying only because of the spirit in her.

Malcolm could have teach everyone in Lothering but then everyone would know he is an apostate and Templars would rain on him. You see the problem here?

Yes, there is an apostate is Lothering. Someone call the Templars already.

Yeah.  At worst, I could see her making deals with the Venatori to help out the mage rebellion.

I don't know about those other two, cause Wynne technically could have died back in DAO, possibly not letting Faith possess Evangeline.

Good. Siding with the Templars will be possible and I don't want the Elder One stealing my kill.

I wonder if Tranquility is possible.

They have confirmed that the Rite of Tranquility will be an option for at least one mage during our judgment sessions in Skyhold.

Tempting... But I would rather uphold the sentiment that Tranquility is not a punishment, so a conventional execution will have to suffice. She will find a common "ground" with her Templar rivals on the hanging tree.

What Vivienne said today in the livestream -

Inquisitor: Tell me about the Circle of Magi.

Vivienne: Of course. Tell me what you wish to know.

Inquisitor: How did we come to this state, with the Circles in revolt?

Vivienne: You, my dear, are far too wise to have not realized that many of our colleagues live with their eyes closed. Safe inside their towers, they only thought of the Templars and their own resentment. Kirkwall gave the world a reason to remember its fear of magic. A mage killed hundreds with a snap of their fingers. Across Thedas, a new tangible fear of magic grew. Commoners and nobles alike called out to the Chantry for protection. But the malcontents in the towers thought nothing of this. They cared only for themselves and their anger at the new Templar restrictions. When a mage attempted to assassinate Divine Justinia, again, the mages protested the investigation. The leadership chose to vote on independence based on the intolerable conditions imposed by the Templars, sparing no thought to the fact that magic was more feared in the aftermath of these attacks than it had been since Tevinter's day. So long as they have their freedom, they could care little for riots or angry mobs or pitting mages against each other.

Smart woman. It seems like we could find some common ground.

my human noble-lady is going to find a lot of agreement with her then, and she is pro-templar well pro chantry first then pro-templar, but the templar order is meant to be under the jurisdiction of the divine anyways.

My queen, flawless as usual. Oh, if only I could trade Leliana for Queen Vivi as my personal life advisor.

Well, at the very least, we get a chance to talk to her. So...if it was a conclave of mage leaders, why wasn't she caught in the blast?

Because when push comes to shove she is a spineless coward?

Hmm, there are plenty of things I would accuse Fiona of being, but I don't think she's a coward. Seems more likely that she's simply too fanatical to ever consider peace talks over anything less that the total defeat of one side or the other. She isn't there, because it doesn't suit her 'drag thousands of people into a war they didn't want to assuage her own pride' agenda.

I'm pretty sure she just (quite accurately) feared assassination.

Ha! Desperate attempt to make Fiona something she isn't, she stood eye to eye with a broodmother without any sign of fear. She would gladly die for cause of mages. And she will stay alive because mages need her.
