Got to take that one up with Cassandra, maybe we can unhook loyal Templar using the Seeker method.

I'm still skeptical about Seeker methods to be honest.

I'm expecting something pretty...invasive.

Not to mention dangerous.

<.< Aka i'm expecting Cass to have scars from it.

Do we know their surrender will be accepted? I bet most of them will be made example of, no? If a peaceful surrender is possible and they join Venatori then yes we have a serious problem here.

This is not about the conditions of society, its a desperation act with death or tranquility as alternative.

Well in DA2 there is a mention of Sanitarium Bartrand goes to if spared, I don't see why Templars can't go to such places

Because they can't be cured, and again, lyrium cost a lot of money. The Sanitarium won't manage to acquire it, so they'll constantly suffer until The die.

That is fan canon.

The head of the present mage rebellion is Fiona, a Grey Warden, compromised by Corypheus...we don't know if she'll side with the Venatori. That is assumption on your behalf.

The E3 stream did not talk about anything other than Alexius, the original breach and that following the Mage power path proposed by Leliana led to that point.

I don't think you actually know what we're talking about. There are two side. We can help one. The one we don't help joins an enemy faction. The devs said this. The Venatori causing the breach is independent of this. The problem is the mages join them knowing they caused the Breach.

Seekers confirmed to have scars from Yoma implants.

Fiona didn't have any relationship with Cory. She met (I think) The Architect.

Their existence will cease, which in many ways defeats the purpose of their original rebellion. Even worse than Cerberus, in that aspect.

Maybe, maybe not. I am not privy to the knowledge of what would happen with a removed Veil. None of us are. Don't misunderstand me, I will always oppose the Venatori and everything they hope to achieve, but they don't want the world to end. They want it to change.

And?

That is the reward society will grant them for their rebellion.

And from the blood and ashes new circles will rise.

Excuse me if I prefer having addicts and not corpses.

How do you know they will surrender? They certainly didn't want to give up ONE person before. I doubt they'll go home now. They brought this on themselves.

How do you know they wont? Mages have surrendered a lot of times, even Orsino surrendered but it was rejected.

Alexius explicitly uses the words "The end" to describe what will happen.

She doesn't need to have met him, Corypheus escaped via Larius. Also anyone linked with bloodmagic was possessed (glowy eyes) in Legacy at the end that included your Grey Warden siblings and Merrill.

Contagion....I expect it spread rather quickly.

Fiona isn't a GW anymore though, she doesn't have The taint inside her.

Yawn...the devs said ...back this up...where exactly. No vague mentions...where. You originally said the streams, well it isn't there...so tweet? rumour? interview? time to share. I mean it's not like I actually side with the mages but we should be dealing in facts.

They said the Taint doesn't effect her bodily...not the same thing.

I like how you didn't answer my question. I gave reasoning why they wouldn't. Where's your reasoning as to why they would.

Possibly. We might know in DAI, if Fiona manages to meet Cory.

Actually he didn't.

Meredith stated at the beginning of their interaction that she would entertain a surrender and nothing more.

Orsino asked her to call off the annulment.

Source, I was under the impression on Fiona was cured of the taint and there for cannot be controlled by him.

I'm more worried about the joining ritual making her vulnerable, the taint not showing bodily is pretty minor.

The Architect didn't have to meet the Darkspawn it controlled, would Cory have to meet the Grey Wardens he controlled? Horrible thought but may be relevent.

No, it says that she 'may' be the first warden not to have to go on a calling...it says nothing about cured...just it doesn't have the corrupting effect...or at least not as fast as normal.

Interesting theory, look forward to seeing the results. I have my doubt's as Fiona seemed willing to compromise, and was reasonable in Asunder.

Alexius was also obviously severely disillusioned with the Venatori goals.

Possibly because they involve ending the world.
