One choice for the rank five evolution of the Sabotage power states that "synthetics explode when destroyed, dealing 350 damage across a 4 meter radius."

A rank six evolution states that, "hacked synthetics fighting on your side move faster and do 100% more damage."

Do these bonuses apply to hacked cerberus turrets? Er, not movement of course.

That's a good question, I never paid close enough attention to hacked turrets.

We fight geth for such a comparatively small amount of time in the game that I never pick those evolutions, but if they applied to turrets too, that'd be different.

I'm pretty sure its Backfire effect doesn't kick in on Atlas mechs, so these are considered synthetics, most likely. Not sure about turrets though. Seeing how hacked turret annihilates everything with plain shooting and Atlas dies very rarely under the effects of the Sabotage, I think it is not that useful (more useful than if it was only for the geth though).

Now that I think about it, I guess sabotage's effect on turrets doesn't really matter as I'd rather have the recharge bonus + tech vulnerability anyway. Hacked enemy turrets do enough damage to the bad guys already.

I have never noticed if the Explosive Hack evolution affects turrets or not. Tough to determine if the inevitable explosion is somehow bigger or not.

I always choose Explosive Hack regardless, because I find the Recharge Speed bonus is typically not noticeable.

Indeed, there's not usually anyone left alive near it by then.
