Hello,

I was checking the DAI page on Origin Brazil, and something startled me: it mentioned that it would only have Portuguese (PT-BR) as a supported language.

I would like to play the game in its original version, in English. And I don't see why we can't have a language selection within the game, like most games do.

Can anyone at Bioware shed some light on this matter, please?

Thanks a lot

It's supposed to install based on your system language, try looking through Derek French's posts, from around june-july that mention how they will handle it

Thanks for the reply. It does make sense having the OS language as reference. My issue is that most of the other games I've checked on Origin have multiple supported languages, and only Portuguese for Inquisition. It theory, that would mean that it would bypass my OS language (which is English) and have it installed in PT-BR only.

I'll try to ask customer support. Let's see if I can get an answer.

There is no Portuguese VO, so you will get English audio. Derek French has said months ago that subtitles are chosen in-game and that we would get both English and the local language text, so unless that changed, you'll be able to play with English subtitles as well.

That would be perfect. Thanks for the info.
