A.K.A. Militarization. I have always respected Science more than Militarization. Science is actually the most basic element of the military, Tony can tweak the technology to fit his brilliant mind, Which makes him stronger than any military man because soldiers are always narrow-minded and short-sighted because of their discipline. And that's a weakness.
Isn't Captain America not only a more disciplined fighter, with a stronger mind but also a better tactician? Tony easily succumbs to alcoholism from all the stress whereas that wouldn't happen to Captain America, it takes a lot to break him because of his militarization. Tony may be more intelligent but not stronger willed as shown by his character flaws. In the end, both have their strengths and flaws.
