Has anyone ever done the various hang-out-with-your-crew scenes after throwing the party instead of before? If so, does anything change?

I've done it. For example with Samara Shepard will mention how they didn't have time to talk at the party. A few like Wrex and Miranda seem unchanged. I can't speak for all of them since I've usually done most of them before the party.

I have the mod, but have not used it as yet (still new to modding ME3) However, CEM lets you move the party to the end and it works well with other mods of the ending. You can still do the clone part at any time, but for the equipment mods best to do it early. If you want Miranda in your party you have to complete Sanctuary mission before the party and you are nearly done anyhow.
