Hello guys,

i´m kinda afraid that my pc wont be able to play the game.

The specs:

CPU: i7-4770 3,40 GHz

Graphic: Geforce Gtx 760

System: Windows 8.1

Ram: 8,00 GB

when i test it on "can i run it" everythings fine besides the option: Dedicated Video RAM

how do i increase that? Can i even do that?

The best way to find out is to test out Battlefield 4.

No you cant increase video ram, unless you buy a new card. Is this a laptop?

With a 760 you should be fine

Specs don't come out till next week, but with a rig like that you should be fine

How could you possibly not run it with those specs? Come on now, hahah

Here I am, waiting nervously until DAI tells me I need to buy a new card or I won't be able to run the game at all x_x.

Also the specs are coming out next week.

Well the 770 can handle battleflied four nicely despite the difference in vram.

not sure how the 760 fairs though.

I am kinda not to worried about it being has dammanding has battleflied four given it doesn't have jets, and so on, and plus it has been hinted at in the past battleflied four is a good benchmark just not which way, and there has been one other random hint.

But we will know either way soon enough hopefully.

But I'm not to worried about the vram, there have been a few games that said you needed a certian amount then release the min specs  and other things and you find out the recomended are bloated and you can probbly get tweaked high-ultra in a few cases or at-least high.

As far as I know, the GTX 760 comes in either 2Gb or 4Gb? Which one do you have?

Even if it's the 2Gb, you should be fine.

I think they are announcing the minimum PC requirements on Monday.

Imgore it there are some odd things on that site, till you play battleflied four won't have a good idea. Would do better heading over to game-debate and asking them on the battleflied four game.

When that happens it normally means you can get things a tweaked high-ultra typically in my experience.  or Very high with one or two things being lowered its kinda not good at telling you what you can and can't tweak.

I know the OP's rig looks good for this game, but should I get decent performance on high settings?

Geforce GTX 670MX

i7-3630Q CPU @ 2.40 GHz

12.00 GB RAM

Windows 8.1

Nobody knows until the specs come and that depends on what you think decent is. High most probably not.

Specs aren't out yet but i7-4770 and GTX 760 I imagine will be good enough. You have the same specs as my desktop actually and I'm not really worried about being able to run the game.

Driver support also counts a lot, no good having a great card if the drivers arent optimised.

I would be surprised if you can't run it on med-high, maybe close to maxed out

OP if you can't run the game with those specs a good amount of PC gamers on this forum won't either. Seriously, your processor is rather close to the current best one and 7xx series is only the last gen of NVIDIA on desktop since a few weeks. There is no way minimum specs for DAI are that high also taking into consideration DAI is supposed to run on many years old consoles/tech.

From a notebookcheck.net benchmark of Battlefield 4, for a similar spec system - since B4 is probably the closest indication we have at the moment:
GeForce GTX 670MX, i7 3610QM
98.4 fps - 1024x768 Low Preset
68.8 fps - 1366x768 Medium Preset
44.9 fps - 1366x768 High Preset
18.6 fps - 1920x1080 Ultra Preset AA:4x MS

So depending on your resolution - and whether DA:I will be more graphically intensive than B4 - I'd guess you'd be safe with medium settings at least.

Oh that is handy.  Thank you.  I doubt it will be more graphically intensive than BF4, but I could be wrong.  If it isn't, I wouldn't mind 44 fps on high settings.  That would be quite good.

I have a GTX 760 and it runs BF4 at almost all Ultra settings 1080p no problem.  Framerates go from ~60 to 100 fps based on the action.

I'm thinking since this is a customized version of Frostbite however, that BF4 comparisons are not exactly apples to apples.  If I had to guess, it will likely be the BF4 "recommended" (not minimum) gfx card requirement of:  "A modern DX11 graphics card with 2+ GB of video memory, GeForce 600 series or Radeon 7000 series" (+ or better)

Yeah that seems likely for recomended, 2gb or more for video card ram  But don't think it will be has cpu heavy is what I'm wondering.

But given its also on the old gen consoles and if anything is any indication so far think the min specs won't be bad. think people can get away with a 1 gb card for lowest graphics but we will see.

It all depends on how they modified the engine.  Hopefully they made the areas So Freakin Huge that it tests the limits of some systems.  But we'll know soon enough.
