Hello,

I remember back on the old bioware community site I was able to register my copies of NWN1/NWN2 (which also created a special icon next to my avatar as an owner of that game).  One of the other main features was that once registered I could download the game from bioware should be original copies become lost or damaged.

Does anyone know how I get access to the games I registered as I am feeling a bit nostalgic and want to run through NWN1/2 + expansions again.

Any help would be appreciated.

It's been gone for years. You can't get the codes from Bioware. Assuming you do not have the game CDs and the codes, you will have to buy the game again if you want to play. GOG often has NWN2 on sale, often packed with NWN1 as well http://www.gog.com/g...ghts_2_complete You may not like hearing that, but you don't have a choice. Remember to request a multiplayer code from gog if you intend to play online.

Why would bioware not be able to provide the codes?  did they ever have a public announcement about cancelling this valuable service for customers ?

If you've registered the games to your profile. They should probably be somewhere still on the Legacy BSN.

Hmmn, This account I am on now seems to only have my Dragon Age / Mass Effect Content Registered.

It has been so long, I may have not converted my original bioware account to EA if that was even possible?

Does anyone know if they were able to migrate their original bio ware account to EA when the takeover occured, and if their old games were ported to the new EA system ?

afaik the legcay games were never ported to the new, now also defunct, bioware social site. as kamal said there's no way to get your game keys back from ea/bioware. the old databanks are deleted and nothing was migrated. if you can't find your old cd collection, then there're only the various digital distribution stores left, if you want to stay legal. personally i would recommend gog, as the games come fully patched and feature complete with all expansions integrated.

They could have kept them.  They chose not to.  Their definition of valuable and yours differ.   :(

Really? I don't remember any such feature. Anyone else remember it that way?

You had to register to post in certain forums, but I don't remember them providing game downloads. They weren't Steam.
