So I seem to have started getting on board the hype train after watching the CC video.  Now that I'm more excited and interested in the game I've been wondering a bit about what I'd like to see in this game.  I arrived at the conclusion that I want a major twist to the world order beyond what we already know is going to happen.

 

Perhaps something in the vein of the infamous Red Wedding from A Song of Ice and Fire/the HBO adaptation 'Game of Thrones'.  Something that sends the direction of the game somewhere else or alters the balance of the world.

 

It could range from say Celene and Gaspard both being killed during the course of the game and the Inquisition having to scramble for a new way to bring order to Orlais, or perhaps Tevinter successfully recaptures Seheron in a massive change of fortune.

 

Any one else have ideas for a big twist?  Think my idea is foolish?

All of Ferelden and Orzammar gets sacrificed in one big blood ritual to get into the fade at the end of the game as a way of making sure its easier to continue choices in later games.

Would it? The island has changed hands quite a few times, with both sides facing stiff resistance from the locals. It's likely that they'd lose it just as quickly as soon as they divert their attention. The manner in which Tevinter would claim it would have to be fairly decisive.

Tevinter crushing the Qunari would be a big twist but knowing Bioware it will be the reverse or they would still be in a status quo.
