After seeing this piece of beauty (http://andrewryanart...set=25#comments), I remembered how Salarians used to be lizards and Hanars were tadpoles.
So what if the pyjaks, varrens, etc evolved before and how would they look like? And how would they look like if they get reaped?

I think varrens may be savage-like so they could be similiar to vorchas while the pyjaks would be like the baby species of the citadel so everyone needs to protect them.

I don't think Varren are smart enough to be reaped. If they are, then why weren't the rachni harvested during the prothean cycle? Javik said they were considered animals in his cycle. Like the Varren are now, and the pyjacks.

Pyjack = Salarian.

 

Klixen = Krogan.

 

Space Hamster = Volus.
