If there's one thing elves can top dwarves at, is at being servants or slaves.
You forgot mages.

Shale notes to Oghren that the dwarves in Honnleath were more or less respected, and while Shianni's opening words to both the dwarf and human Wardens could be summed up as "You came to the wrong neighborhood," the presence of a dwarf Warden is more confusing than infuriating.
The Alienage is totally different, though. It makes sense that CEs would resent dwarves, who are also non-human but don't deal with prejudice.
I actually like Celenes hairstyle (if that is Celene), its a step away from the "long flowing hair" cliche that every female member of royalty usually has, it gives off a foreign feel.
but thats just me....
Actually, my Dwarf Noble wardens are both about the right height to give Leiliana a good time. Also, one of them's a hot female Templar in an armored skirt.

That's not what I'm trying to say though. The CEs don't hate them. A human who walks through the Alienage gets yelled at and probably punched in the face, whereas a dwarf who does so gets confused looks.
Ehh, it's mostly cracks about their height (Carver says "looks like the dwarf has dropped a few more feet!" when Varric gets KO'd, Leliana says she could work for the King of Orzammar and help him get things from high shelves...) and the general stereotype of dwarves being greedy bastards.Have we ever seen any prejudice against dwarves? I mean, dwarves aren't human nobles, so in that sense they deal with class prejudice, but otherwise seem to be treated equally.

They can't be any better than a dwarf since there are none. But I'm sure dwarves would still kick ass as mages what with all that lyrium. They'd be having lyrium running through their veins. Who needs potions? They'd drink beer and burp lyrium dust.
And archers, come to think of it.
And being more attractive

My problem with her hairstyle isn't necessarily the length of her hair, more that it just... doesn't look good.

I don't like it at all. Every woman in DA:I has short hair, even NPCS... >.> You'd think they could at least take the time to design a decent hairstyle for the Empress... just my opinions, ofc... ;p

No one can beat a Dwarf in their ability to not give a **** at how good a mage you are.

Eh to each their own :/

She looks like she's trying to be a punk rocker... meh... seems inappropriate for the leader of Orlais...

The Empress of Orlais often dictates what's appropriate, at least in fashion.
More like a goth. But she needs more makeup. DARK makeup!
I for one, would refuse to have that horrible hair sitting on the throne.
If that's the case then I might have to support Gaspard just so that haircut no longer remains in style.
I just want full control with regards to how my Inquisitor addresses people.
If my Inquisitor, for example, bows to someone without my explicit input, I will be extremely miffed.
Yeah, I hated this in Origins when my dalish elf bowed to King Cailan. I thought that was pretty odd.
Doesn't Gaspard have a mustache? Or maybe a beard?
I like facial hair. Celene better step up her game.
I would prefer Celene not grow a beard.

If that woman with the short hair is Celene then Cailan must have been high when he thought of dumping Anora for her.
