I wondered about the American accent but I figured her time spent with the qunari may be responsible for that.

also I noticed people are answering the wrong question.  I think she will return in some capacity.  If the question was "do I want to see her return"?  I would say no.

If she is to return, and seeing how confused she was about the Qun and how much she questioned and defied it, maybe she'll come back as a vegetable from the good o'l reeducation camp.

I hope she does. Admittedly, the sadist in me hopes that we have an option to kill her, and again she gives us the slip XD

Tallis should have came back to help me fight the Templars in the end. Carver at least came back and he was not a mage or DLC. She at least owes me after all I did to help her. I did not know there would be this much hate on her. She did not seem that bad to me.

I have always used MotA after the battle of Kirkwall; not before. The DLC has much better Boss fights than most of the remaining game, IMO; made for a more challenging conclusion.

I hope not. I found her insufferable. I was also annoyed that I didn't have the option to backhand her and steal the list back. Nobody stabs me in the back and walks away without a murder knife in the throat!

I hope she'll appear in DA:I, but I mostly hope that she will appear with a DA game that focuses on qunari wars, and more than that I hope she'll be there a companion.

The Iron Bull, after our meeting, will be refered to as "The broken bull" who from that point will reside in the dungeon.

While i enjoyed the character and the expanding the DLC did on the qun, i sort of felt that Tallis felt somewhat.... out of place. Maybe a new model in frostbite would help rectify that feeling

Her "sue-ness" is hardly annoying in comparison to the manner in which she brushes aside (or simply ignores) any attempt to address the Qun's more troubling aspects.

Not to mention that, in their attempt to create a more relatable and endearing Qunari, they made a character who simply cherry-picks what tenets of the Qun they actually decide to follow.

Agreed. I actually found Sten and The Arishok to be more "likable" representations of the Qun then Taliis.

It's not that I don't like Tallis.  I just don't understand her character's purpose in the game.  In the DLC she just shows up randomly (granted much of what happens to Hawke is rather like that) and eventually reveals herself to be part of the Qun.  I know that elves, humans, eskimos are allowed to join the Qun as it is a religion, not a race and we see this throughout the game with Seamus Dumar's infatuation about the philosophical aspects of the Qun and the elves who murdered a guardsmen in ACT II who join and are welcomed (plus other garnishes from WoT book)  but I just felt with Tallis that there was a lot of the Qun and Qunari lore lacking (is probably the best term I can think of).  It doesn't get explained properly and plus, Tallis is female.  I was under the impression from Sten and Arishok that a woman cannot be anything except have a more spiritual, reproductive and leadership role in the Qun not an assassin who fights -- and not all Qunari are as worldly now as Sten became after the Blight. Granted you could argue this on many ways, such as the Tal Vasoth (with playing a fem kossith) but they aren't under the Qun or have disbanded from the Qun for so long that their daughters, nieces, sisters are allowed to take on more physical roles that would have otherwise been for men.  I just found the fact that Tallis was allowed to continue in her sector as virtually acting as the police for the Qun...when she is female...confusing and against what has been told to the PC by Sten.  It just felt like she was a mary-sue.

DA: Redemption series makes this more clear for me, but I like the character.
