This is DA2, Hawke story has happened, Hawke found the idol, fought Qunari, Fought and freed Cyrop. went to the party with Talis and killed Prosper and fought in the mage templar war in Kirkwall. These events happen regardless of you play the DLC or not, there are some minor choices you can do along the way, but the story have pretty much the same narrative.

Yes it's Hawke's story and it's a story that only exists through the player's playing the events. Tallis never happens in a Hawke story where Tallis was never encountered. Legacy never happened as well.  As a matter of fact, if we go by Varric's claims of being a compulsive liar then how can you be so sure that any of the events happened? After all, he believes in adding falsehoods to every story so I can't see how anyone can truly argue what is true for the story and what isn't.  Anyway, I've been through this argument before with people who just could stand me saying that LOTSB never happened, I'm not getting into the same argument for Hawke.  We agree to disagree

No offence, but according to timeline on the officially DA page it reads Hawke attempted to destroy Corypheus in 9:31 or later.

 

If Legacy happened MotA happened.

 

Also using ME to DA2 as an example is bad one. When DA2 starts Hawke story has already happened (Some of the choices slightly alter some of the comments Varric says) but when the ME happens depending on which game you play happens in real time, also unlike the ME DLCs Varric get interrogated at the start of every DA2 DLC and the Interrogation happens in 9:40 while the DLC's takes place in 9:31 or 9:34 or 9:37.

I would keep it clean myself. One arrow to the head.... that's it. Sends a good message, and you aren't having the covered in their blood problem.

MotA isn't worth adding to the official timeline.

It happen regardless (I find the DLC entertaining in the begining the hunt and party is pretty funny, other then that it suffers from the same problems DA2 suffers from, but so did Legacy), it just doesn't add much to the overall timeline other then Prosper died a strong alley to Celen and the list didn't fall into the qunari enemy hands.

 

Where other not Hawke was on good terms on with Talis is up to the player, that's probably the only real choice in MotA.

I would like to see what Tallis would do if she found out after a sexual encounter with a unbeknownst to her mage for a mission for the Qun, she was in fact pregnant with would in all likelihood was a mage child, and her superiors found out.

fanfiction? no, im not that interested in writing her story for her, and its more so because she being who she is, as a supposedly loyal follower of the Qun would have to give up said Mage child for what she knows will likely be a hellish existence, as the child will have its tongue cut out. and eyes sewn shut, and be forced to be leashed like a dog on a chain for the rest of its life.. knowing her blood would be treated as such, I would love to see whether or not she would still stay faithful to the Qun and do as the Qun demands, or try to flee with the baby to offer it to the Chantry (well this is obviously before the split between Circles and Chantry), or even seek out the Dalish in a attempt to raise her Child freely.

Technically, can't you choose to never even go to Chateau Haine ? So potentially, MotA "happened" but Hawke wasn't really involved at all.

 

Also, I wish they didn't make it like ME3 where Shep was apparently friends with everyone they met before regardless of your opinion or how you treated them or making you pick "combat loss" with no "none" option

I hope that I won´t have to deal with her anymore, I found her DLC as a sort of fanservice made from hype of that time, when someone was pushing down through our throats Felicia Day in DA .
