Artemis, I'm gonna tell you straight up, I don't think he'll be noble.
That said, I think the way he is living right now, so....vivaciously, is a way to cope with the trauma he's experienced as Ben-Hassrath. Patrick Weekes has said that Bull has PTSD, so maybe him living so hedonistically helps him to cope.
*throws hands up* Man I totally give up
The romance situation has just been awful for me personally. And of course that is the one thing I look forward to in Dragon Age games the most. Lovely!

Wait.....hold up? You find Gamlen likeable? I feel like this is a more important comment to discuss. I can understand finding the fact that he is "believable" to be likeable. But to admit that he's an ass and pretty shitty person all around and then to say he's likeable? Mind. Blown.
He does care about his family despite his ass attitude, after all he did get them into Kirkwall (it was not the best way he did it, but it was a better option then the rest of the people got), he was also quite sad when Leandra died and he will say he is glad that Hawke is part of the family if you unite him to his daughter.
So he does have a caring side under all that ass attitude. He just doesn't show so much.

If there is any Josephine would be the one.

Wait, why does there have to be a virgin?
I don't think the argument is that there has to be. I think the argument is that there always is.

Wait, why does there have to be a virgin?
Why does there have to not be one?
As I said, Bioware has had at least one LI be one in each game they've made, so why should it be different now?
I honestly doubt there is one in a team of people almost middle aged.
Not all of them are middle aged. Sera and Josephine for example are in their twenties.

Is that a conscious choice on their part, or is that just the stories they have decided to write?
I guess what I'm saying is that there is no guarantee of a virgin romance, at all, despite what previous games have done. Period.

To be honest, with the exception of Iron Bull, I guess any of them could really be virgins, right? We don't have anything to suggest otherwise.
That being said, I don't see any reason to suggest that any of them are virgins either. It's a slightly older group this time around, with the exception of Sera. Even Josephine is probably late 20's at the youngest and, given her history with Leliana, likely older.

I can see it being a conscious decision. People love the whole "Two people sharing their first time" thing. We only have to look at how many books/movies/games/etc have it.
There is no guarantee certainly, but if there are none I will be genuinely surprised.

True. As I said, she just seems one of the more likely ones.
Sylvia said the age range she had in mind for Josephine is 25-28.
Who was the virgin LI in DA2..? Is it supposed to be Merrill? I'm pretty sure we don't know that.
It was Merrill, yes.
That could be middle aged for Thedas....
With all the old people we've seen, doubtful.

In Dorian's case yeah...its not that he likes men it that he won't make Mage babies with his strong magical blood line. Heck, Denarius abused Fenris in that regard and no one in Tevintir bats an eye
Wait what? Denarius earned stud fees from Fenris? Did we play the same game cause I never encountered any mention of that whatsoever. Fenris's entire beef with Denarius was all about how Denarius turned Fenris into a slave and then made Fenris go around killing and intimidating people.

But... we don't actually know that, do we? Not that she can't be, it's just (unlike Bethany) she never came out and said, "I'm a virgin." I mean, I get that she's young and cute and all, but virginity's not a personality type. It just means you haven't had sex.

She confesses to Isabela that she is jealous of her life, from the adventures to the love affairs.
Plus she was always an outsider to her clan, and she has never left them until Hawke shows up.

Nobles live longer, and even then we have no definite age range. Admittedly, Josephine is a noble.

Ummm, no. There was nothing extremely overt, but it was heavily implied that he was sexually abused by Denarius.

Interesting. I never saw this before. I'm trying to put a timeline together in mind about her and Leliana and it's not really working out. Wasn't Leliana with the Warden 10 years prior to DA: I. So if Josephine is an "old friend" of Leliana's, then I guess it was from when they were children, right? Because wouldn't that mean that Josephine was in her mid-late teens when Leliana was traveling around with the Warden?

It's implied that Denarius sexually abused Fenris. It's in a few lines from a few characters (Fenris, Denarius, Denarius' apprentice).

The magisterium does want him to breed. So that's certainly a source of tension if he tells them to stuff themselves.
His family wants to.
The Magisterium as a whole wants more mages in Tevinter.
But Magisterium as a... power structure could not care less because less powerful mages = the better for the current members. It's not like they're some mage nazies, of course no one likes Dorian's ideas but it's not like they care so much about just one man.

Well to be fair, I'm a bit jealous of my single, sexually adventurous friends' lives at times and I'm not a virgin......
