Goodie. He brought up the Jesus thing so I didn't have to talk about it.

One of these days I'll have to track this or some other fan edits. I thought the deleted or incomplete material was pretty good, I'd like to see a version with it mixed in.

I read the original script. It was pretty good. But alot of it got left on the cutting room floor, which is a shame.

I'd love to see a Directors Cut with everything put back in. Too bad Ridley Scott adamantly refused one.

I mean the movie would have been AMAZING if it was not for the HORNY, 3rd grade level intellect, incompetent "CREW" of a SPACE SHIP that cost like a TRILLION DOLLARS

I really like it how they built a spaceship the size of a cathedral with a full sized basketball court, and then complain about the cost. Also: ROCKS! I ♥♥♥♥ING LOVE ROCKS!

Ridley Scott can be a dick like that, in the original version of the script for his version of Robin Hood, the movie was going to be a detective story starring the Sheriff of Nottingham, using historically accurate investigation techniques that the screenwriters painstakingly researched, but Ridley Scott just threw it out and made a movie where Robin Hood is a T.E.A.bagger instead.

I know it sucks. Especially since Directors cuts are generally better. Hell Daredevil's Directors cut is actually watchable.

I would also like to bring up in the original script THIS was the Proto-Xenomorph

HollowayAlien.jpg

I'll include a link to its entry on the AVP Wiki. Just click on him, where you'll also see some awesome concept art of the thing.

And here's the entry on the original script Alien: Engineers.

That's a shame, because that sounds awesome.

Sorry Tarek but I liked the movie.
I know the story could have been handled better but I liked it and I am waiting for the continuation to come out.

Interesting concept, if a bit flawed in execution,

Micheal Fassbender is a phenomenal actor,

The Deacon has a pretty good design,

It feels like a modern 50s B-movie, and for a guy like me that's a good thing,

The Late H.R Gigers brilliant art design in general. In fact the art direction in the film was really good all around,

The score is wonderful,

This video.

lost was a good series... STOPPED watching right their

nothing more pathetic than apologetic fans that will defend a movie/game that cant be defended with pathetic arguments like

1- u should watch all the promos before the movie

2- wait for the cut away footage to rly understand

3-sherlock Holmes the clues from the movie that u might have missed to understand

sad... go back to you pony comics

I loved it. Watched it about 3 or 4 times in the theater. Things I liked:

  • Loved all the landscape shots up until the storm hit
  • Creepy David
  • Ideas on why creators create
  • Generally I liked the crew and their banter - I thought it was fairly authentic
  • Dat auto-C-section... jeez!

Wow, I think the last whisper of respect I had for you blew away in the wind.

why all their video was apologetic babel and lost a good series AHHAHAHHAHAHA

maybe at first .... in the end it became so convoluted and nonsensical it was LAUGHABLE....

same thing happened with ME3 for example where they lost their damn minds making a weird matrix meets frodo meets Simpsons meets aliens meets salad dressing ending ..... I mean WOW bioware... hero fights bad guys hero wins THE END how hard is that!!!!

ME was not some deep philosophical and spiritual reflection on the origin of life and death... the tone was already set in ME1 and 2... it a si fi action cliche-isk game

w8 u think lost was good?!!!

all those guys did in the video is give me completely unrelated reasons on why we did not like PLOT HOLES

no I did not hate the writer, or the director or the idea of the movie and NO I found lost to be convoluted garbage and Prometheus is STILL full of face palm moments

how did this discussion transform from discussing a movie with plot holes to discussing me??? AGAIN

after lots of threads I have a nagging feeling some people on these forums are immature 13 year olds... you don't agree fine don't no need for personal attacks

look at theclonelegacy he liked the movie for his own damn reasons nothing wrong with that... indeed the movie was WELL MADE ....

for me I just found the some times IRRITATING characters barely passable, the blond chick going all :FATHER everyone needs to die..... then in the end of the movie she goes.....I DONT WANT TO DIE SCREW U ALLL LIFE POD BITCHSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS....

Maybe this is off topic, but least you're thinking about nonsensical decisions that few w/o education of any kind would make and other breakdowns of logic.

Games are no different than movies, adult minds can't handle decisions that violate logic, the story has to make sense with life experience.  Games that follow poor movies are poor games - due to the poor foundations.

I also differ with stupid makes it funny, especially in science where small mistakes can even kill the wise.  The writer also forgot that any group funding science will want the best people.  If the characters violate reasonable logic too often -people leave as their minds refuse to be polluted with garbage.

Clearly, Prometheus did not help you detox from daily stress, but added to it!
