Awesome!  Thanks for the update.  Good video.  Crafting sounds really cool.  Still, it will be interesting to see how available materials will be and if there are requirements in order to craft.  A little more detail, but still a lot of unknowns.  I'm psyched!

I'm curious to see it for myself. It could end up being a dwarf-restricted kind of thing... dunno.

Mounts scale up/down for the races. So a qunari gets a larger version, and a dwarf gets a smaller version.

I don't think romance options should be affected by race. come on bioware.. I agree that they shouldn't all be bisexual, but racism shouldn't be a thing.

There's supposedly plot reasons for them. Solas must be super anti everyone-who-isn't-an-elf *shrugs*

Elves are treated badly by humans.

Dalish elves hate humans.

Qunari look down on anyone who isn't a member of the Qun.

The game is built on racial injustice.

I agree The real world isn't all roses and puppies, and Thedas reflects that. No matter what character you play there will be somebody out there who feels antipathy towards you because of your race/class.

Or he is just very passionate about elvish heritage which fits with what we know of his character.

 

I have no issue with race restrictions on romances, it makes sense and isn't racism.

As far as i'm aware its just due to time limitations. Those romances were added later.
