Why is everybody learning german these days? Nothing really fascinating to speak. Speaking french or spanish would be more useful. O.o

There is no French nor Spanish as an option for third language for the Translators MA at the university I'd like to go to, so I had to decide between Chinese, Dutch and German. I got the spoken part of the exam, but would've needed 3 more points in one of the three sections of the written part. I'll ace it next week, no problem.

 

And by the way, both French and Spanish are on my to-learn list, and I'll probably start with one of them after I've tackled the German and Italian exams.

I wish I could've seen him at his prime (2003-2005-ish). I did see him in 2011, right after Snoop Dogg, it was unforgettable.

 

I have a (pretty bad) video of the end of the set, the funny part starts at 0:29. What an epic save from the backstage guy!

That's awesome! Yeah, I saw him at a rave that was totally underground, before he was mainstream. This was in 2005. It started at 3 am and it was -25C outside. People actually started huddling waiting in line. I thought I would lose my toes that night. But it was absolutely insane when we got in... he had three songs of his just casually playing at the same time. And then the place got raided by the cops at 6am.. He ended up doing a follow up in a stadium and gave free tickets to everyone who was at the initial (raided) event but I was out of town and gave my tickets away and he had already gone too mainstream then.

All right so this one... this is the top hit from my childhood. So basically from 10-12 years ago. It's not the same in English (or German, Turkish, Japanese, French or whatever - the guys created a lot of translations for this track), I loved the track in its original form.

Basically, the meaning is the same in every version, but the Hungarian one sounds the best.

 

We'll see this band in a month with some friends, the last times we've seen them (May and August 2015) were a f*cking blast.
