Okay, title ain't that good. Mass Effect'er= Mass Effect player :P

So, this is if you actually want to read everything and do a COMPLETE run of the Mass Effect Universe and it's saga.

I compiled a list of Comics, Books, Games and Movies, and put them on chronollogical order, so when you go to Mass Effect Wikia and search for Foundation on it, you don't have to say "Hey, I know ME Foundation sucks, but I wanna know where and when it happens".

Mass Effect: Revelation: PROLOGUE (2157)

Mass Effect:Evolution (2157)

Mass Effect: Foundation 1 (2161)

Mass Effect: Revelation Continues (2164)

Mass Effect: Foundation 11 (2165)

Mass Effect: Foundation 4 (2168)

Mass Effect: Foundation 10 (2175)

Mass Effect: Homeworlds 1 (2176)

Mass Effect: Foundation 9 (Before Eden Prime War)

Mass Effect: Foundation 12 (Probably before 2183 War)

Mass Effect: He Who Laughs the Best (2183) (URL: https://digital.dark...om/read/3094/)- Free Comic book day, check the link

Mass Effect: Foundation 2 (2183)---------Links to Mass Effect Storyline (Wrex hunting Fist)

*******Mass Effect (2183)

Mass Effect: Homeworlds 2 (2183)---------Links to Mass Effect (Tali and Saren's Recording)- read it AFTER Eden Prime

Mass Effect: Foundation 3(2183)----------Links to Mass Effect (Ashley and Eden Prime) Before going to Eden Prime

*******Mass Effect: Galaxy (2183)

Mass Effect: Incursion (2183)

********Mass Effect: 2 (PROLOGUE) (2183) (1 Month after the battle of the Citadel)

Mass Effect: Ascencion (2183) ( 2 months after the Battle of the Citadel)

Mass Effect: Foundation 5 (2183)

Mass Effect: Foundation 6 (2183)

Mass Effect: Redemption (2183)

########Mass Effect: Paragon Lost (2183) (First part only)

Mass Effect: Foundation 7

Mass Effect: Foundation 8

Mass Effect: Foundation 13 (2184)

Mass Effect: Paragon Lost continues (2185)

*********Mass Effect 2 (Rest of the Game) (2185)

Mass Effect: Homeworlds 3---------links to Mass Effect 2 (Dossier: Archangel)

Mass Effect: Retribution (2186)

Mass Effect: Inquistion (2186)

Mass Effect: Deception (2186) - PS: Not cannon, so...

Mass Effect: Conviction (2186)

Mass Effect: Homeworlds 4 (2186)

Mass Effect: Blasto: Eternity is Forever (Not specified. Please note, Blasto = Fictional Character)

Mass Effect: Invasion (2186)

Mass Effect: Infiltrator (2186)

Mass Effect 3 (2186)

-The End

* OBS: Mass Effect Foundation must be read twice, because of the Dossiers that Rasa's read, happens BEFORE that time... And Rasa is in the present time. Or you could do it with a Flashback. Oh, also note that Homeworld 1 has a Flashback from James when he is on the Citadel in 2186

        - FOUNDATION: DOSSIERS (Already specified)
        - FOUNDATION: RASA AND CERBERUS -- (READ BEFORE MASS EFFECT 2)

OK, here's the list, Honestly, it was a bit confusing, because of the Timeline of the whole series and such... Hope you like it!

Cheers :D

Edit: ****** Means Game

       #### Means Movie

Shouldn't the Foundation series be read after Citadel DLC? I haven't played the DLC yet but I know that the protagonist of the comics plays a major role in the DLC.

Noope. It works like a Prequel for Citadel DLC. (Can't tell you more than that to avoid spoilers)

I know that it serves as a prequel in terms of time, but isn't it better to get to know Brooks first and only then learn about her past? I've only read the ones before ME1 following wiki timeline and it was revealed that

Spoiler

I'd rather not know that before meeting her. That said, I haven't read the other issues and haven't played Citadel DLC yet.

I've heard those Foundation comics are excellent about the lore.

Apparently they don't give Cerberus the screentime they deserve, unfortunately.

Yeah, good idea. But this would depend on you, because the list is in Chronological Order, eh?

Nice one! When the comics are updated and etc, I'll edit this topic.

Nope, they really don't.

True :)

So, did I spoil some fun in Citadel DLC by reading those comics? Or both the comics and the DLC offer more in terms of Brooks's character development?

Well, I need to be true here, Citadel DLC and Foundation Comic are, sometimes, contradictory. IMHO Foundation actually adds more to the ME2 Characters than Brooks, and Citadel DLC has many Brook's scene.

Foundation did spoil a bit of the Citadel DLC, yeah, but I don't think you will perceive the lore turning-point, 'till you get there... Or will you? ;)
