10/10 on both for me.
Plus isnt Dragon Age Inquisition the Third installment of the series? Since we have Dragon age:Origins and Dragon age 2.

As for the franchise, based on my original expectations from DA:O, I would've said 9/10 or possibly even 10/10, but after what changed in DA II (I'll go into more detail with that if anyone's curious, but don't want to sound like a broken record here) I'm down to 6/10. I still find the setting interesting, especially the Black City/Darkspawn/Grey Wardens angle, but have just about given up hope on a few key mechanical points that are very important to me in RPGs. I was very fond of DA:O (would say 9/10, probably). There were so many problems I had with DA II's gameplay that it's made me very leery of future installments (would say 5/10, probably).

I enjoy Origins, and was really excited for it, and I found it was a wonderful game.
DA2...well, it made my eyes rain, and at times, I wonder if it might be a more humanitarian replacement to pulling the nails from the fingers of prisoners.

2/10, maybe a 3.
Not getting excited about the game. "Cautiously optimistic" is closer to what I'm feeling. New combat system, limited skills/regen (even on easy), and a new virtually unmoddable engine all conspire to give me pause. I'm in a holding pattern to wait and see I guess. Hoping I could come back in a few months and post that I enjoyed it, but for now, not getting all excited over it.

It fluctuates and dies down from time to time, but on the regular I am about 9/10. So ready to have it in my hands.

I plan to get it as soon as it comes out (midnight release if possible?) and beat it in four days with 8 hours of sleep. So I guess I'm pretty excited for it. That's probably worth a 10.
I'm getting too old for this though - it might take me 5 days.

If there's another one of those I might just give up on gaming entirely.

I'm expecting very good things out of Inquisition and very much looking forward to playing it. It's going to be a very positive step in a series that badly needs some new direction.

A few months back I would have said a 10 but now I'm at about a 6 or a 7. I'm still pretty excited mind you, there's just been a few let downs for me that have put a damper on my enthusiasm since August.

Hype is the first step on the road to disappointment.
After playing Origins, the DA franchise was a solid 9/10 for me. Then DA2 happened, which I found thoroughly "meh", and I'm not thrilled to see the flashy bling-bling combat make a return in DA:I. The 8 ability limit seems an odd, arbitrary limitation. Generally I'm getting too much of a whiff of DA2 to really look forward to this game. I am kinda curious, but not in a "I really want to play this" way. I just want to know for sure in which direction my once favorite developer is moving.

Well I'm going to be spending about $1000 on PC parts before launch for this game so thats how much it means I suppose. Lets hope its not a huge embarrassing failure.

So far as the next game? 10 there too. I'm upgrading my console because of it (it was going to happen eventually, but this game is definitely the one that drove my decision to do so at this time). It's giving me most all the features I've wanted in the series (open worlds, exploration, sweet spot combat, black people), along with migrating to frostbite, laying the groundwork for more easily and consistently structured (if not executed; development is not cakewalk I hear) DLC, expansions, and sequels.

Meh. 7/10
DA:O - faviourite game of all time
da2- good game
da:i- ehh.. I don't trust it... 8 abilities, no healing, "maybe the warden MIGHT be mentioned" But we'll see. I swear if Morrigan is a huge plot character and my warden (her romance & god baby's father) isn't mentioned thoroughly, I'll boycott bioware for the rest of my life.
Probably 10 in my case...
But the potential to have it walk all over the Warden does fill me with dread on occasion...
Still... I'll take the leap of faith and hope the whole ME3 debacle has brought Bioware more in touch with their fanbase in regards of what not to do.

Also, I'm worried about religious themes being attached to my character in ways I can't meaningfully roleplay against. There aren't many things that can break a story in a game for me, but this is one.
I love the world and the stories told therein so far. In games and in other publications. DAO was great and DA2 was reasonably OK apart from combat. I don't have any major concerns about those aspects for DAI. However, how the religious themes are attached to my character is a make-or-break issue. I just hope DAI won't end up in the category "Great games I hate regardless". That would be a shame, and even more to the point, since this would be the second time in a row Bioware does this after ME3 it would make me very wary of getting invested in future Bioware worlds.

I actually fell in love with this franchise in 2010 by playing Origins, I had never played something so rich and developed as that game. I still remember starting to play at around 6pm then all of a sudden I looked at the time quickly and realized that it was almost 1am. Will never forget that haha.
From that game I began to become more and more interested in the world, the characters, everything. Thedas was just so intriguing. I played DA2 and also had a blast, by the end of it I just wanted to play the next game immediately because of the massive cliffhanger and now the time has finally come!
Anyway, I would for sure give this game/ franchise/ devs and everything else a definite 10/10!!!

As to looking forward I am at a 10 This is because they said they are combining the best of both games (look at combat video) and building new functions for personalization (character creation and the keep for example)
As to loving the world at DA O i was at a 10, then DA 2 came out and that hit it to a 7, however after reading all the books like last flight to the calling I am back at 10 you have to love a fantasy world that has choice at the center and doesn't make things cut and dry.

Kinda the same, but I'm more of a 6. The Dragon Age games have, so far, not disappointed nearly as badly.
Though the inclusion of MP, as well as certain combat mechanics like no healing spells at all and the 8-ability limit give me serious concerns.
But most of all, the fear of another ME3-type ending keeps hype from reaching high levels.
