Xbox graphics will only be better if you've got a lower end PC. If you're basing your decision purely on the amount of features, go with PC. The rest comes down to platform preference.

Graphics depends on your computer - Xbox is reputedly similar to the games medium settings, and the xbox also has hard limits on anti-aliasing and screen resolution. High settings on a good gaming computer will absolutely look better.

Well, the PC version will have the toolset and it will have better graphics if you don't have a lower end PC. It's up to you though what verison to get I guess.:)

I like using my computer better then a xbox. Last time I use my xbox was playing SW: KOTOR 2 but I don't own a Xbow360 or PS3, prefer a computer.

PC graphics will always have greater potential than the limitation of Xbox 360. If you have a decent enough PC, the graphics will be vastly superior than a Xbox's.

If you have a PC that can run Dragon Age well, it would be absolutely foolish to get the console version.

DirectX Version: DirectX 10
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT

Are you sure about the display memory there? I haven't heard of a 8500GT with over 512mb.

What about your monitor, what resolution do you usually play on? I'd say if it's anything above 1024x768(15/17-inch monitor usually), you may experience lagging in the game on PC.

I'd really suggest you getting a new graphic card and/or CPU. Currently the new HD5750/5770(DX11) from ATi are only about 100 to 150 dollars respectively.

To the original question, if all else was equal, I would recommend going with whatever platform has the controls you feel most comfortable using. Graphics are all well and good, and I'm sure the game can look gorgeous on any platform, but there's nothing worse than having a great game frustrated because the controls don't feel natural to you.

For me, DA:O is all PC. Mouse/keyboard wins over the PS3 controller for superfine control of a party.

This looks like it can run DA:O, but not on high settings. It may experience dip on medium settings, too. The CC is not a good indicator of performance because there's no combat or big environments to deal with.

I am just using consoles when i feel the need to waste some time with a video game. Im sure in two years I'll throw down $1000 on a tricked out PC , but im finishing up my bachelors right now so I just can't just don't see myself putting down such a big chunk of money for something I only ever use for MS word and MS power point.

Running Vista with only 2gb of ram will hurt. Your CPU and ram are the only things that I would question. But I say go PC as it has: toolset, mods (when they come out), or even the controllers from ps3 or 360 if you really wanted to use them for the game (imo keyboard/mouse > * unless its a fighting game or flight sim.)

Going PC for graphics and gameplay reasons. With pause and play in stuff just seems more streamlined on a PC.

If it’s strong enough, pc every day of the week. The amount of content that’ll be created by the toolset, i think, will be pretty vast
