Hi-res texture pack for high-end PCs.
This would please me. Maybe throw in 4K support as well? (Though that'd make me a fairly annoyed badger due to having bought dual 27 inch screens rather than a single large 4K recently).

So the people at Bioware work really hard for nearly 4 years, crafting an awesome game, and the first thing people ask for is a toolset to change what they have worked so hard to create? Even before they've played the game???
WOW! I really hope they make no effort in releasing any modding tools. Instead, they should invest the effort in additional game content.

PC specific? Can't think of anything other the the system requirements. Maybe they'll have a gameplay video with the PC UI instead of the xbox one?

In reality it is very very unlikely it will be a toolset, almost now chance so don't worry. However toolsets can really extend the life of games well past the original campaign. I don't think most people view it as "I want to change everything about the game!" early on but mods to enhance subsequent playthroughs and mod people do not have to follow some of the rigid rules a game company does.

Here is my guess out of left field.....they have revisited the UI and added more quick slots than the 8.

As long as they're better optimized than the Shadow of Mordor ones... >.>
6GB VRAM for Ultra setting seemed a bit too much.
I'm going to check when I get home, but I think I have ultra with 3GB of VRAM. I could be mistaken. I played most of last week in a Nyquil haze. Regardless, the graphics in SOM are pretty amazing, but the story so far is kind of weak. I'd rather have slightly lower graphics and a great story. Then later I can patch up the graphics.

Optimizing the graphics, which just means sacrificng visual quality for better performance, would make the ultra textures not ultra anymore.

The ultra textures need to be downloaded seperately. If you haven't, ultra is the same as the second highest option.

I don't think there will be a toolset anyway, BUT, toolsets are really a great thing for the lifespan of an RPG. Go to the Nexus website and browse mods for Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim, and Dragon Age Origins. Some of the things modders spend months creating are astonishing.
And, NO, I'm not talking about the female body models. ![]()

Maybe I want to make a dungeon to add to the game, and make it contain a new weapon model?
You have a very limited view of modding. If anything, a toolset opens up the possibility to add to the game. Without it, potential modders are limited to retextures or other simple overrides, which- as you say- simply change the game.

In that case, I've been misinformed, as I've read this in an article from ... *tries to retrieve it* .. there, they added this screenshot :

YES ! And then you turn your head, and your character turns it too, but you don't see her anymore because the camera turned too, and AND AAANNND... Ok, it's a bad idea.

Just last week I had this discussion with whoever runs the Dragon Age page on facebook...
--------------------
Then there's this, which indicates they will talking about MORE than just the system requirements this week...
I believe Mr. French stated they would be released on Monday, 6th October, or the week beginning with said Monday.
The week of which starts with Monday the 6th. There will be a few more things we talk about that week, as well.

Are you completely unfamiliar with modding? When people mod a game such as Skyrim, we generally add to it. We don't change everything. Mods for DA:I could mean making new armor and weapons, new quests, etc.

If it's anything like BF4 I'll be able to run it, but if they've decided to not show mercy on older PC players and have the minimum recs be higher then I'm screwed hahah
Edit: Hey maybe they'll announce that they changed the PC UI to allow more abilities? I can only dream ![]()
