I'm looking for tips on how to be efficient with traps. I am playing on nightmare so friendly fire is on. Anyone know how to properly use traps?

One thing you could try is setting a whole lot of traps in one area, and then sniping an enemy on the other side of those traps that hadn't seen you yet. (I'm not really sure, since I only really did traps with one character, and even with him they sorta fell by the wayside in favor of Storm Of The Century.)

I don't often play as a rogue, but I've found placing traps at choke points to be a good way of using them. Doorways, narrow areas in tunnels etc. That way one opponent is immobilised and the others can't get through - pick them off with distance attacks (spells, bows, crossbows). Plancin several traps one after the other in a narrow area is even more effective.....
